Hi, can anyone assist. I bought from new a May 2007 A4 Cabriolet, 3.2 quattro with Sat Nav (colour screen) and bose speakers but stupidly never ordered the bluetooth. I am looking to see if I can fit one, either buy the actual unit (as I have all the steering wheel controls) or an after market one. So my question is, has anyone done either or can you advise of a decent aftermarket adapter? I am not really bothered about the phone, its more to blue tooth my devices for music etc. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Maybe post in the B7 forum as you'll reach owners with experience of same variant?

There's no such thing as a b8 a4 cab... They retired the cab from a4 when they ceased the b7 runs. I'm guessing making a 2 door cab was a lot easier on the already coupe a5.

The b8 was introduced around 2008 however the b7 was likely still being registered sometime after to keep the cab demand supplied.

No Bose on b8 either, Audi went with b&o on this variant.

Only way to get BT streaming is aftermarket tbh, as the audi BT for phone does not support this function.

Now you could add ami to a mk2 rns & with a new adapter on the market, stream via the ami system, but we're talking over 1k for this lot tbh.
