Will these fit my car?

I have a set of wheels 5x100 8j wide and et35 I know I need adapters to 5x112 but will they for with that offset if the adapters give 20mm spacing?

They are 18's aswell

If the adapters are 20mm, the wheels are going to be ET15. They won't fit.

What et do you think would be okay? I'm not sure what the standard wheels are?

Offset of standard wheels is 54 mate.

That's a ****ter! Looking at some that have a et of 50 and another set with et45 apparently they should fit straight on

Go for the ET45s they'll stick out 5mm further than the ET50s.
