Hi,
New to the site as recently got myself a black edition a3, and would like to get some mud flaps in it. Could you fill me in on where to get some from please, and how easy try are to fit?
Thanks Mike

I got mine from TPS. I've got 2009 black edition. Think they were about £60, its well worth in in my opinion gives the car a slightly better stance from the back.

It says on most sites that they are not suitable for s-line or black editions. Is that actually true cause I heard that there is only one standard set for all a3's. The year of the car is 2010.

Yeah it said that when I was looking for mine, to be honest mate I don't think that there is any difference between a standard bumper to the S-line one other than the insert in the centre. Could be wrong though! Bear in mind I'm speaking from experience of owning a 3 door so not sure about the SB. I ordered a set and they fit perfectly.

When fitting them you have to take the wheels of so make sure you can lift the car and its secure, I used a hydraulic jack and stands.

Got mine from ebay for my 09 S-Line and were an easy fit only had to make a small hole in rear bumper for a push in plug and
I was to able to do it with the wheels on

Isn't there a couple of screws that go into the wheel arches that you have to take the wheels of in order to get to? It's what was said in the fitting instructions anyway.
