haha used to been a div :) from pics ive seen on the net, the rs4's thing in the corner whatever its called is raised and sits in line with the L shaped gap, so i can only imagine its different, just would need to find out if its just the top bits thats different or the whole box, because it could get pricey if the whole thing has to be changed, but like a say needs a bit more info finding out

You were right mate, they do look great. Love the flocking!

Cheers mate

who does the dipping is it fits performance.

Hyrdo-Precision does the dipping mate
FITS Performance did the flocking

:)

little update

the water bottle was always bit of a eye sore, with everything else now changed so i painted the top bit last night with some paint i had left from the interior

much smarter looking in my opinion can still see water level below so were alright :)

the top cover across the battery i was going to leave black but instead ive decided to send it off to the carbon dipping lads to sort it as it looked left out haha

Love it. What were the part numbers for the washer bottle cover and the back of the air box? Searching gave me the following options:

8E0103927D01C & 8H0103928 (For standard A4)

or

8E0103927C & 8E0103928B (Supposedly for S4)

Also I never asked before, if the carbon wrap/dipping material suitable for under-bonnet temperatures??

i aint got a clue about part numbers tbh lad, sure someone on here has them to hand

yeah no problem with the heat, they dont really got hot were they are anyways tbh :)

Your engine bay looks fantastic (as does the rest of your car)! Wasn't sure about the engine cover but now i've seen it with the screenwash cover it brings it all together.

Can't wait to see the scuttle cover done.

The battery cover bit got dropped off last night, just waiting on word from MAC that we have solved the issue of the corner section fitment then i can get down to audi order the part and drop that off for carboning :D

Think the Carbon stuff looks brill....jury is out on the engine cover....but really smart whatever way you look at it.

Well done Dan, that's turned out awesome, im just waiting for my engine covers to arrive, then the engine bay will have a makeover :eyebrows:

Not sure yet, having a chat with a mate on Friday, he's an awesome body specialist and painter so i'm sure we will come up with something, possibly a two-tone gunmetal/gloss black look. The RS4 cover has held up well after the second fix attempt thankfully. Then either a new set of mods to start after Xmas, but then again I might be selling it.

How was ADI fella, bet they were impressed with the engine bay look.
