Right lads hope everyone had a great Xmas and new year, I just thought I'd get the ball rolling on any possible meets in 2013 seeing are nw section is dead :tumble: so feel free to get any suggestions/ideas out and about

At last...... It's been like the day after tomorrow on here. Get weaving Turbo Jay, I'm up for a NorthWest meet:thumbsup:
 
Graeme at GNJ Motorsport will have his new unit soon, he has said he's happy for the VXR lot to have meets there, maybe worth having words with him about the audi lot going over sometime.

im sure he wouldn't have a problem.

I will speak with Graeme and see if this is a possible venue. I believe that N8 is going to organise some meets at his unit as well. :)x

I have sent Graeme a Pm to ask if this could happen. Will update when i get a reply from him. :) x

lol I know :tumble: Yea deffo get one on soon see what n8 comes up with soon should be good, ill be looking forward too a passenger ride in your rs3 robbie lol :thumbsup:
 
I have heard back from Graeme, (GNJ Motorsport), when his new unit is complete, he will be happy for you all to have meets there. :) x

so after spending the last couple of hours trying too find a good place for a nw meet ive come up with
dobbies garden center in southport, i think it will be a great ice-breaker and a chance too put names too faces seeing as they already hold a meet there on the FIRST wednesday of every month run by uk hot cars which is not brand spcific so any cars welcome, i went too one last year and it was good loads of cars including a couple of audis, and also a burger van (bonus).
I'm just gauging intrest at the moment too see who's up4 it, if enough people are up4 it then we can make the first one of feb which is on wednesday are own nw audi meet. it usually starts about 7:30pm which i thought was a great time giving people the chance too get home from work and get sorted. anyway ill start a list of names below too see whos up4 it then we can decide wether we make the feb one or start it in march let me know what you think lads.

there is a rolling road day at awesome gti on the 23rd February. could get a NW meet going there.
 
Southport a little far for me probably aswell, but that Awesome Gti meet sounds good :)
 
I wont be back from Oz until 13th March so will make a meet after then.
 
A537 (cat and fiddle road) is always a nice place to meet/drive. I think some time in the near future, for anyone who is relatively close and interested we should organise that! (On a sunny day) :yes:
 
There is a meet at krispy kremes every friday from 7 to late. Its normally a good turn out, plenty of audis and vw's

That is a good road, a bit far for a lot people in the NW though fella, loads better on a bike though !
 
Very true, how ever I live at the bottom of it, in Macclesfield, which I would still consider NW :p. I think you're right though, Manchester is a more central location.

Good luck getting your new car. I saw the thread about your last one! Sucks that it wasn't your fault yet nothing you can do about it!!

Know Macc very well, used to live on Lymm Green & on Park lane, also worked for ATS in Macc for about 4 year, many moons ago like, i grew up in Mongleton!

Yeh was gutted, but what can ya do, thats ice for ya!!

Hopefully N8 will be setting one up, he has a really good place in Manchester just of the M62 aswel

haha good place just remember to stop at the pub if nailing it down the twistys so you dont get caught by the average speed cameras.

The ASC's are a joke on that road. I mean, you can turn off just before you go through the last one and go a different (quicker) way... It makes no sense. I guess it just catches people out who don't really know the road. And the people that don't really know the road, shouldn't be speeding! It's not like it's easy to average 50 between the camera's anyway, unless you're really trying. lol

Just pull over in the layby for a bit, dont count then when you have been there for 10 mins, all the bikers do it !
 
No not yet bud, trying get some funds together then i will be of to the auctions, hopefully!

Yeh an A4 avant would be real nice, 02 plate onwards i think, just got to get the cash together now!
