Boot wiring diagram

Hi has anyone got a link or a picture of the wiring loom to the boot, want to check the wiring to the boot handle as it dont work!
So many threads with different ideas of what could be the problem, most likely it seems to be a broken wire on the left hand side when you open the boot.

Also looking for options on how or where to check it out.

I take it if my fob opens the car then the boot should work with the fob or are they programmed differently. Would I be able to see a signal on the wiring if I press the button on the fob to open the boot?

Car is a 2004 TDI sport 130 saloon B6.

Hi

I had a broken wire in mine,

just as you open the boot...look at the black rubber plastic pipe that contains the wires on the left side, pull out the rubber parts of the solid plastic part check the wires there, it was a thick brown wire that broke if I remember correctly....

that's where mine broke.

How did you check if it was broke?

When I pulled out the wires I could see where the wire had broken ...
Easy fix then

I might have some photos of the time I fixed my one ...I'll have a look tomorrow for you.
If it makes it a bit clearer.
