Just bought some sline sports springs to go on my A4 and I'm also thinking of getting b5 perches at the front. Anybody done this and got pics, just want to see how it would sit.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome cheers

I've got 40mm apex springs on mine and b5 perches. I like it low, but you might not like it quite so low.

Here's a pic of it, but difficult to see how low it is maybe due to the snow.

Here's a non-snow pic too.

So my suggestion is to go lower than sport springs ha! Speed bumps aren't fun, but other then that it's fine. It's never scraped though.

Maybe a little bit to low for me, my driveway is on slope and on my old car had no joy getting up lol rubbing the arches like mad. Like how it sits tho with the b5 perches nice ride

How much difference is the between sline sports springs and standard am I right in saying around 20mm

Yeah, my brother in law took his passat slightly lower and he is so close to beaching out on his driveway. Luckily I don't have a drive to beach on haha!

I just need some 18's really, but think I'll stick with 17's, cheaper tyres and a slightly better ride. The wife hates how it drives now, I love it.

Yes, it's 20mm difference between se and sport. Mine is an se.

Dont bother with perches, I had the Eibach Sportline springs fitted today, PERFECT.

Any pics matey, mines a sport with 19s on and looking to go slightly lower but don't want it on its ****, I'm too old for all that scraping speed bumps these days!

I'll pop a pic on tomorrow for you mate, I was uming and ahh'ing about perches, belive me dont do it, the sportlines are all you need. Looks and drives superb ;)

Mines a sport too mate.

But that's because the sport lines have a 50/40 mm drop, which most springs don't. If you get a 40/40 drop then I'd recommend a perch also. A sportline with a perch probably would be too much.
