RNS-E for Audi S3 8L 2002 model BAM engine

Hi everybody.my name is haris and i am from greece.you have an excellent forum.first of all sorry for my english.i have to say that here in greece nobody has done it before.if you reply to me please write like you talk to a baby so i can understand everything.

My car is an audi s3 8l 2002 model with bam engine.my car has dis(if i write it correct)the thing that tells you the radio station, rds ,temperature,etc and a radio cd concert .from what i read i have to buy 2din case code 8l0858005a ,climate control unit(very expensive) ,so if anyone can give me instructions how to cut it because i read that you can do it.rns-e must be from a4 model(please write me the codes i have to look for).from now on i am confused with some things like can bus,pins etc.if i understand correct the first thing i have to do is to buy a rns-e conversion harness (from the kufatec website).second i have to change the position of some cables.from 12 clk to 5 can h and from 13 data to 6 can l (grey cluster).i read that from nsxjr.com.it has a picture.

It also says that i have to change from (vehicle connector i) which i dont know where it is cable from 8 clk to 7 can h and from 9 data to 12 can l.correct me if i am wrong and please tell me where to find (vehicle connector i).is it anything else i have to do with cables because i read that i have to use an extra cable from somewhere to somewhere.so please correct me where i am wrong add informations of things i didnt write and i have to buy and please send some fotos for extra help if you have.help guys!!!!!And thanks again for reading my post.

I am writting this because i am a little bit confused.As i said to you before my cor is 2002 S3 model with consert I(i din) radiocd without BOSE system.I can see the informations on DIS(RDS,TEMPERATURE,ETC).Rob send to my email usefull directions.Thanks Rob.The informations he send me are below but its for an A6 2001 model.From what i read from sites the wiring diagrams are the same.Thats what iam goind to do.!!????

I am writting after reading very carefully pdf file he send me.(AUDI SYMPHONY I TO RNS-E INSTALL GUIDE).
So please correct me if i am wong!!!!!!!!I really dont want to destroy anything because i love that car.





























1.From the grey instrument cluster(T 32c)
a.remove the CLK wire from pin 12 and reinstall into pin 5(CAN H)
b.remove the DATA wire from pin 13 and reinstall into pin 6(CAN L)






2.Install GPS antenna and extend antenna wire behind the headunit.

3.From connector T10f (brown 10 pin connector) i have to find pin 8(red/blue wire) and tap a new wire and run it to the headunit.This new wire should connect with RNS-E pin C2.(PLUG AND PLAY WIRING HARNESS)

4.In the area behind the headunit i have to locate the black 20 pin connector.(CONNECTOR I)
a.remove the CLK wire from pin 8 and reinstall into pin 7(CAN H)
b.remove the DATA wire from pin 9 and reinstall into pin 12(CAN L)






5.Some connections are made outside PNP harness
a.connect RNS-E pin B7 to ground (if the vehicle is equipped with BOSE SYSTEM.So i dont have to do this connection since my car is not equipped??!!!)
b.connect RNS-E pin C2 to the reverse wire(as i wrote adove at nmber 3)
c..connect RNS-E pin D14 to the large brown single pin connector
d.connect vehicle pin 10 connectot IV to chassis ground in a convenient location.

6.Install the radio antenna adapter.

Thats all i understand for wiring connections acording to this guide.If i am not correct please correct me because i dont want to do any damage to the car or the RNS-E!!!!!!!

As i said you before i am comfused because some other AUDI fans do other wire connections from what they write to forums.So your help is needed.
