Rear camera question

Hello all,

I have been looking around but I can't seem to find the answer..... I guess it doesn't seeing as I can't see any.

I have ordered a new A3 black edition 170 Quattro and I am looking about for various subtle mobs and one I like the idea of is the reverse camera, it doesn't come with one as standard does it? I have tech pack, comfort pack.

I have searched and seen some have fitted this one CCD REVERSE CAMERA AUDI A3 A4 A5 A6 A6L A8 Q7 S4 RS4 S5 | eBay

I also like the sound of the Bose sub upgrade by AndyMac too.

I am so excited now only 4 months to go.

Cheers Amar. Just to confirm is there any difference between kit for new RNSE and old? Just asking as they say on the website not suitable for vehicles from 2010 onwards and i have a 2010 RNSE.

Well the original Audi camera is about £120 last time i checked, the camera holder is £60. then its a case of wiring and coding it in to work with the RNSE. I have done it on my Pioneer unit but the wiring up is much different on this as the camera goes straight into the back of the unit into a place specifically for reverse cameras.

without either the kufatec module or the original audi r8 reversing module you wont really be able to get this all installed.
you would need to also have the extra wiring for this so all the parts would be needed

I have done this on my car with the R8 module but you can install all the other parts without the module. But you really need wiring to pull it all together but the kufatec make some "noise" on the camera's image (i do have bought one of it and my electrician said that the wiring that do the image aren't enough isolated).
