Sorry dude... not something thats readily available... elsawin might be useful to have but its not 'freely' available (any posted links to iffy software will be removed for obvious reasons)..

Don't know if this may help in the meantime...
VWVortex.com - ElsaWeb (Online ElsaWin) but then free

i'm doing the same upgrade like this guy
DIY B5 A4 Center Console facelift upgrade

but I need wiring diagrams or colors for A and B connectors. i'm searching for about 1 month and can't find, maybe somebody can help me.

If your going from one climate control to another you shouldn't need any wiring changes. Just plug your existing wiring into the new control.

You are wrong. I have originally connectors C and D from facelift and wire totally differ. Plugging my connectors, climate doesn't work.
My climate control unit nr. is 8L0 820 043 D, the facelift one is 8L0 820 043 K.

I did a single pre-facelift to double facelift dash centre conversion for someone a fortnight ago and they got a facelift double din climate control which just plugged into cars original wiring and worked straight off the bat

Thats interesting, do you know what year the facelift stuff was from?

Hi I know this post is 7 years old, But out interest did you ever get the wiring done? I'm currently trying to "upgrade" mine as I have currently got this. And imo it does not look that nice at all.

I want to install this

I have the climate control I want to install from my old audi A3. And I thought it would be a simple swap over. I was wrong. The wires are completely different. And so Are the plugs. My old Audi is a write off, So I can take the wiring loom out of it. wondeirng will this still be possible? Keep in my mind my write off audi is a "AUDI 1.6 Sport 8p 2009" and my current is "AUDI 1.6 Technik 2010"

This is the 8L section buddy... you would be better off asking in the 8P section for your car... 8L don't have the same wiring/HVAC units as the later cars

Cheers mate I appreciate it big time. Just out of curiosity where did you find these wiring diagrams? I've just currently downloaded ElsaWin, but trying to learn how to use it.

Once again thank you for getting back to me :icon thumright:

Cheers mate, but im still learning how to use this manual. When I click on current flow diagrams I get prompted with "Section blocked. Please start the vehicle identifcation." I assuming that means put all my car information in?

workshop repair guide. green toolbox bottom left

Cheers mate. Like I said its all new to me. But right now when I try to put my year model of the car (2010) It does not allow me to pick it

If I just type 2010 in, then put my vehicle ID in, and then click "start enquiry" I get sent to this, where it says the page was not found. Have I installed the programe wrong?

Now worries mate Im sure Ill figure out after playing around with it a little bit. Pretty sure I didnt install it correctly.

Anyways Im stripping out the old car. As it seems the wiring loom for the AC is not easy to get too.

In the picture you can see the Climate control/AC unit and it really just makes the car look ugly and bad ( it is loose right now)

Once again thank you for the replies. I really do appreciate it :rapture:
