Tein suspension fwd same as awd??

I need to no guys and girls if the suspension set up on a b6 s line 1.8t fwd is the same as the awd version aaa ive just purchased a tein kit but realised it said qutroo in the title after but not in the description at bottom! Do i need to cancel these before they get sent out? Helppp thanks

fronts are the same, rear is not

Thanks for your reply ive been reading on audizine and other forums that they will fit but are just different spring rates because of the weight! Apparently it has been done but obviously ride is a little stiffer.... Im confused lol

Thats correct they will be set up for a little extra weight for the quattro.

Are they the £350 set off ebay the ex display set from Tein?

I looked at them too but there also no good for an Avant.... same reason but opposite way round would have been too soft at the rear.

Yer i bought em straight away as i saw them but like an idiot read the description and not the title fully lol.. I hope they will be ok just gna be stiffer i expect! If they go in ill use em : )

They will fit and be fine as said only a little stiffer,

They have been on ebay for ages first saw them beginning of December, dont know why as there a great deal only down side is they were advertise with no warranty

Yer i saw that but usually a 800 kit so the savings there for that exact reason just shows you how much money they make off of these kits!

I've got a set of Tein springs fitted on my car. Lowered the car as you'd expect, but ride quality is very close to factory. Ive used several manufacturers springs over the years, and if I'm honest these are amongst the best I've used. I only paid about £50 delivered too. (Sorry to be a little off topic)

As you say alan tein springs are close to a factory ride for comfort, i remember i had a set of tein springs on my starlet ep82 and they were so comfortable but also neat for round the tracks too, best of both worlds!

They mainly specialise in the Japanese manufacturers. If you look at the website they do all sorts for the drifting scene etc...

they have a big reputation apparently on the "ricer" scene...

Yer like you said they do some amazing kits for the jap scene, i must say modding jap cars was a hell lot easier than modded a vag!! But no matter how good they are i think coilovers are way over priced?!

Coilovers are all well and good on a track car, and yes, they do make the car lower, and yes I think they're expensive. But in real life I think they're just to harsh on the roads. (This is only my opinion, I'm older now and want the car to be comfortable rather than harsh and crashy)
thats the reason I had springs only. I think that they are a good compromise due to the state of our highways. If the roads were all glass smooth then I'd plump for coilies, but I don't think that'll ever happen.....

Yer your correct, very harsh on the road! But with occasional track use being my thing i cant love wothout them.... Lol
