90% finished on my Pi install.
So far I've mounted it in the boot.
Made a custom cable.
I'm not waiting on a keyboard and mouse. extra short (10cm) USB cable and me to shift my *** and wiring in the 12v socket for the charger, the relay to keep power to the pi/tuner while the key is in the ignition and a short/stumpy SD card.

Bit of a update.
Got my new short USB Micro cable for the pi.
I wanted short but I think this might be a bit to short.
Luckily it was just the right size. Any smaller and it would be unusable
I used a 12v USB photo charger for the Pi's power source, made a bracket for the socket, bolted it all together and fitted back in the car and this is what I ended up with.
Almost there.
Just waiting on a slim line USB stick and a wifi compact keyboard/mouse combo to turn up, then I'm done.

wheres the trim from mate rs4 ?? I was tempted to get mine wrapped bright red or piano black just havent got round to it, getting the front grill done rings black and surround GTI red.

Be cause I can. lol
I spend about 30-60 mins a day at on a ferry getting to work, I tend to use my phone and watch Youtube.
I liked the idea of watching films or using the RNS unit and since it's not a DVD player, I thought I might as well make something else with more use/features.
I can now surf the internet, watch films or TV.

The grill is being wrapped by a company called signcreations by a lad i no its his company he qouted me £20 soon as its payday going to drop it off, as for glow in the dark im not tempted doesnt tickle my fancy lol
Had the datatool alarm removed from my r1 as it would only disarm as and when it felt like it leaving stood like a 2hat next to a bike that's only any good as an orniment £190 feline quid to remove an alarm did I get stung?

Well done Scott! I have been reading about people using tablets as head units, i'm getting very tempted. Stems from the old carputers, but they were gay as they were too big. A tablet would be sweet. I could get mrs crazy88 to laser cut me a surround easily enough too...very tempting.

well scott pics as promised a bit late but hey ho, took me about 45 mins to line up rivet and shape to the bumper looks well more aggressive now, just need to clean the dirty thing as this snow and grit salt has took a liking to my car lol

Well i picked my S4 rear bumper up tonite and as i got round the corner from his house the car died twice the second time it didnt fire up again
as i flicked the key it was clear the fuel pump was not kicking in and also it has been struggling to fire a few times in the past week or so, so checked fuse all ok checked relay all ok so luckilly andy had a spare pump from his monster TQS so i popped it out well struggled eventully got it out of the tank which was 3/4 full lol swapped a few gubbins over had a brew popped it in and she fired up a treat, cant thank andy enough for helping us out and letting me have the pump for nowt absolute legend he his, i owe him one !!!!
Now to get the ****** bumper painted lol

replaced my vacuum hoses with silicone.
Found a couple of faulty ones.
One even sucked in the fabric covering.

gave car full service including changing fuel filter, fitted new front brake pads,
topped up front diff as have a very small leak,
fitted new rocker cover gaskets and replaced the bottom c links as one rubber had split on the one but thought may well do them both.
then had a look a mates tt as it sounded like his exhaust manifold gone but turned out turbo was loose??? he said it started not long after a garage near him did some work on the car, so maybe they forgot to tighten it up. also found one the pipe connections on his n75 valve has broke but looks like some has tried to already glue it before. so have ordered new gasket for turbo and he sorting new valve.
been busy day , but has helped I had free access to mates workshop.

Autosol'd the **** out of the exhaust tips;
Looks 10 times better than before and the amount of hardened soot that fell out too... jesus!
Retro fitted a Grey leather armrest;
Audi in their infinite wisdom had already laid the template on the under side of the tunnel trim so they could punch it out if you ticked it as a optional extra from new I guess? Using a hole drill piece I simply cut the shape required to allow the armrest to pass through the trim and mount onto the foot of the armrest, 3 bolts to secure it down and there you have it. The only minor snag now is I can't close the ashtray lid in the back as it fouls the armrest mounting plate, I think a bit of jiggery pokery and it should be fine, but can't be bothered to take it all apart again!

wheres the black meyle one from ???? if its the one on ebay its a generic image and is actually blue as i messaged him before i bought one and turned out they are blue not black !!!
Black washer cap ??? Off what model ?? The B7 has the black power steering cap and bottle (not sure which model) but just dont no if its compatible with the B5 the cap should be just would like to fit both of them !!

Today i put all my problems aside and went on the hunt for bits and bobs.
Now have a working cup holder, 312 carriers to fit, bigger washer bottle ready to retrofit headlight washers, vented s3 wheelarch liner to aid air flow to the intercooler, and a piano black cubby hole and hazard trim panel!
Today was a good day!

Replaced the rear axle bushes with the gracious help of Byzan 
one down side is that I can now hear that one of the rear bearings is really noisy...
will it never end....
