what is the difference between small and large port injectors??
is it just injector height?

so for example, i could get those 630 gen II, and just space the crap out of my fuel rail and they'l be fine???

basically, i want my injectors to be ok for a large port inlet runners.
and id like to try the new genII injector, rather than the old siemens 630. coz im cool
if only the 500s were actually 550 and i could just run them at 4 bar

Do a test fit? on my AGU my siemens deka's fitted without spacers, on my AMK I had to run the spacer kit from IE.

if i buy the 630 gen II, they will obv fit my current smallport, but will they be transferable to a large port, aeb runners.
if its just a matter of spacers or un-spacers i dont mind

small port style injectors don't fit the large port AEB/AGU bungs... you can trim the plastic off the side of the injectors to get them to fit or if planning on using bigger injectors then use 550 bosch EV14's as these fit the bungs... you will need to use unspacers though as the injector seal doesn't seat in the bung... using these you may need to space the rail up a bit to...

On my deka 630's on a std S3 inlet you need to use spacers... on the large port AEB runners on my larger mani I still spaced out the rail as the dekas push right through the bungs if you don't...

Buy the right injectors as a priority as the wrong ones will make it difficult to map in correctly and get running right... there are ways to ensure they fit as they are supposed to for any config...

i fancied the new gen II genesis you see, they have good write ups so far, esp with higher fuel pressures

Seats (holes) are the same but the bung diameter is smaller on large port heads so the shoulders on the side of small port injectors won't fit...

Injector size depends on what power level you are aiming for... bosch 550 EV14's at 3bar are more than enough for hybrid etc power and have well documented data for setting them up in maps...

I am running my 630's at 4bar currently but its not something I would recommend unless you have an inline pump and a turbo capable of 400hp or more...

I am planning to change to bosch 550's shortly as I have heard good things about them and want to see if I can get any more power from running them at 4bar

do you think the gen II 500s (why the **** arent they 550!) at 4 bar would be good enough for a gtx2867r?

i know 630s will cover around 400hp, which hopefully the gtx will be knocking on.
the 500 at 4 bar would only be 575cc. would it cut it. obv i want headroom.
