Me and mrs need a tdi to save money in long run

My friend has one a audi a3 8p
But needs rocker. Over gasket doing and new boost n75 valve

But its cat c which isn't bad as its white now but going to find out what the damage was as well..

I have spent a lot on my s3 last year good car does break now as changed most things just newer a3

Help ...

100% find out what damage was caused to make it Cat C before parting with any cash....

I'm assuming the 8P is really cheap due to it being a Cat C car?

The 8p looks gash next to your S3 IMO (which is what you seem to be asking for), but obviously it'll never be a diesel. If it were me I'd be searching for a well looked after, well spec'd 8p diesel.

No cash just swapping cars I keep my plate on my s3 as well

I would change the wheels on it to these for a start

Plus mrs fed up on using the car and every dickhead just to race etc

It's a bit small as well I do love it going to find out the damage on cat c if not worth it won't do it

Just trying to find how much my s3 be worth good spec look after as well low ish miles good 3.5k ish

She has her own car bettle 2.0 petrol

I have my s3 just bored really easy
As I do alot miles on weekends s3 ain't bad but have to drove like a fanny no boost everywhere

Do not swap that car!
Your s3 is worth what it is till the end of time, and worth a million smiles!
The 8p is an old one, and granted the 1.9tdi is a decent lump, the car will be worth £8.50 in not very long and the only way you'l get a smile is if your mrs washes it naked.


Put the s3 on a limited mileage policy.
Sell the beetle for something diesel.

I think you know it already but no point switching cars unless your going to be happy with what your swapping too, like if your coming from an S3 you want at least sport, if not s line spec on the 8P.

I'm pulling your leg mate , to be fair I get a wikid deal on insurance. I've got a company fleet policy which being only 23 yrs old it's priceless and my insurance broker is a relative so i get an unbeatable price.

I get what you some company are a joke but ill nice only if the customer is nice to me of they start being a nob demanding I reduce it or telling me my job no discount and all the charges if they mess up
