Hello everyone, first of all, I just want to say that my experience in tuning cars goes as far as tuning on PlayStation which means ZERO in real life, and my trust in tuning garages here is not far from that either.

So before going to garages asking questions I thought I ask the people of the internet
.

I have an Audi A3 1.4 TFSI 125 bhp , and I was thinking whats the difference between audi's 1.4 tfsi and VW's 1.4 TSI that produces 160 bhp!? I always thought that it was just a matter of a Remap but I found that there is an extra SUPERCHARGER on the VW.

SOOOOOO my next question was , Is it possible to add that supercharger to my a3 ?
and I also found
that the new A1 1.4 is double charged and i guess it has the same engine the A3 has.

Thanks in advance
.

The 1.4 TFSI already has a supercharger. What year is your car?

To be honest in my opinion there is no point of tuning a 1.4tfsi unless money is not an issue + I am guessing you are at a young age  / so save up and get a bigger engine then do the tuning :)

Audi A1 comes with a twin charged 185 bhp 1.4 tfsi
And a turbo 122 bhp 1.4 tfsi

you are right I'am young and this is my first car :) , I live in Egypt and getting a bigger engine is so hard here and its not legal and the customs on engines 1.6 and bigger reaches 200% , so you wont find lots of big engines here. And the idea of 1.4 producing 160+ hp haunted me and i wanted to know if its possible.
thanks for the reply :)

Not sure if its the same but if you got deep enough pockets anything s possible

I do know that the turbo is larger on the twin charged
They then added a small sc to stop turbo lag
Sc works up to around 3k rpm then it switches over to turbo
So it's going to be a little more than just bolting on a sc
