Firstly. The carpets are dry. No sign of water ingress.
But when I finish work, the wind screen is drenched. Today it was frozen on the inside. URGH!!

This is bad news for me, as I'm an on call fire fighter. I need my car quickly.

Plenum chamber is clear and the plugs are gone.
Pollen filter is brand new.

Sounds annoying mate. Ok, you've ruled out the obvious so now id check door seals. When you open the doors (when the problem is apparent) check for moisture ingress on the seals. Eg, no moisture on top or inside the seals? I sometimes think the vents on the dash under the windscreen cause this??!! Try a towel or similar over the vents after shut down? Just throwing ideas at you mate, no definate answer though, sorry!

Are your dash vent motors all working?
Do you have aircon? is it working well? how long since regas?
Condensation on any other windows or just the front screen?
Sunroof?

Front and rear screen. Front is much worse.
Aircon was charged 2 years ago and gives 9bar when running on vcds. Still gives out cold air in summer.
All motors have recently been stripped down, reworked and greased. All work smoothly.
No sunroof. No signs of water in the actual car. It's odd.
It's not all the time, just with a hard frost on the screen.

get some anti fog ..this will stop it happening

Had this on my previous B6 and assumed it was normal in cold weather but my present car has much less. The only thing I never checked was the aircon drain

It had a new screen in about 2 years ago. But if it was aircon drain blockage or window seal. I'd expect wet carpet or some sign of water?

If the seal is leaking\perished at the bottom, under the wiper trim, you'd probably just get enough moisture come through in wet weather to mist the glass.

It cant hurt to get the trim off and get in there with a sealant gun to be on the safe side.

So you reckon reseal along the base of the wind screen? I have some windscreen sealant... hmmm

Hi m8

best of luck

He mentioned the pollen/cabin filter is brand new unless it has not got a proper seal when put back together.

Is it possible for the filter not to seal? It doesn't seem like it would seal tbh.

On a good note, it passed it's MOT today.

It never looks like it seals though. Just sits in with a cover?
