Well, that was not very successful. I went into my Settings menu, whose icon has had a number "1" sitting on it ever since iOS 6 was launched, into "General, and then to Software Update. It checks for updates, shows iOS 6.0.1 as being available, but he "download and install" button is greyed out. I think it's because I don't have enough free storage on it. It says it needs at least 2.5GB, but mine is almost full.

I dont think you need all that free storage on your phone, plug it into the computer and have itunes open and it should let you update

Still running iOS5.0.1! lol, never lost google maps, not upgrading anytime soon neither, as my phone is JB'd.

I like the new apple one. It has free satnav, turn bu turn with instruction. I didn't like the google directions as you had to move it forward yourself step by step, unless you got another app.

And it hasn't had a problem finding anywhere for me.

Has anyone had a problem with it not finding somewhere?

No iPad version yet but you can download the iPhone version until its released

For some reason it won't install on my iPhone, just says will install, and then nothing happens.

Try downloading it through iTunes and sync it to your phone

A6CR, that's what I was doing. Maybe its because my phone is too old, its one of the first iPhones, now about 4 years old, and has the wrong software.

Ah that's maybe why - what software is he phone running if it was one of he first?

Most apps require the latest FW to function properly.

I have no idea what software its running but its four years old. I am pretty sure though that it already has Google maps on it, it has the Google legend in the corner of the map.

I didn't know there was a jailbreak out for iOS 6 for the iPhone 4s or newer I knew there is a jailbreak for the 3GS and iPod 4th gen on iOS 6.

Can you pm me the info for the jailbreak you used.
