Been looking at stage2+ Revo and on here people seem to say i need a RS4 Fuel Vlave? Is this true?

If so whats the part number so i can order on at my local Audi?

I've got everything else.

Thanks

i think you will need the RS4 Fuel Valve if you go Stage 3 but at £40 or so it is probably worth doing anyway

As above its not essential until Stg3 and above.
If you're going to do that then it's worthwhile and some claim benefits at Stg2+ but mine was fine without.

So there's no dip in power at the 5k mark when giving it the beans with the standard one? Would the revo stage 2+ benefit with it or would it just be pointless waste of money? Not going to go above that stage.

i fitted mine to try and cure the massive flat spot between 5.5 and 6k revs but suspect it's my intank pump dying so thats next. i'll be hoping to get nearer the 400bhp with mine soon though so is worthwhile for me anyway.

you'll never achieve 400 with oem turbo.

part costs 40 but it's the fitting labour that's probably going to cost 3x that as it's right under the intake manifold.
i'm getting mine fitted same time when i'll do uprated clutch kit.
as said above depends on your tune will you feel the flatspot above 5k rpm's or not on stage 2+.
i tried different setups and with one i got a massive flatspot over 5k rpm's. but with current setup i'm fine.

there are threads on the internet with data from the both stock and rs4 fpr showing that rs4 fpr gives closer pressure to the requested one.

i have hybrid k04 and wmi, took me 10 mins to fit with no special tools.

sorry mate. didn't know that :D
would you like to share more info about that turbo ...:D

it's from turbo technics:

High flow K24 Compressor wheel (from an RS4) modified to suit
Re-profiled compressor housing
Uprated 360 degree thrust kit fitted
Lightening of turbine wheel for quicker response

fitted AEM WMI monday but haven't hooked it up yet, waiting on intank pump upgrade then hook it all up on remap day.

obviously got 3" decat, milltek cat back, custom fmic, S3 injectors, relocated DV, auto tech and PCV fix to support.

and i was referring to the pressure valve taking 10 mins to fit with no special tools bar some 12mm ID hose to locate the new valve before tightening it down. :)

very nice.
it's going to be a rocket once set.

well i guess if you're skillful enough you can do it in 10 mins.

i know i would end up with parts all over the engine bay. lol
just like when i was a kid, every rc car i had to dismantle but when i put it together i got excess parts

I would say with what you have in mind that its a worthwhile and very cheap upgrade.

The stock regulator is working near its limits with 360-370bhp and its such a cheap thing that its a no-brainer.

The AEM kit is very simple to set up and works well with an uprated intercooler to keep temps down.
Mine starts at around 0.8 bar and runs through to max out at 2 bar.
You would want yours to reach full flow by around 1.6bar I would think.

The ECU limit for boost is 1.7 bar but I doubt your hybrid would sustain that so you shouldn't need a boost controller and further software changes.

Hope you enjoy it!

BTW....if your car is an S3,the stock LP fuel pump is ok until 440bhp and you would need a lot of extras to go beyond that in any case.
