Sounds OK to me, winter tyres are proven to be worthwhile having, you will save your good wheels/tyres for Summer and be safer ito the bargain. Let's face it no-one really looks at what you are driving in winter or what the wheels are, they will match the car and not look out of place and if you do decide you are fed up changing them back an forth, you will always sell them again, win - win if you ask me
Not too bad a deal, those wheels tend to go for £100 - £150 depending on condition, the tyres are also roughly half worn as they come with between 8 - 9mm when new and loose their effectiveness in snow @ 4mm, so not a bargain price but not over the odds either.
They dont look that bad Chris, you did indeed get a good deal. Lets hope we dont get to much snow this year, though it has been snowing on and off here since last night, inbetween the rain and hailstones. Think its going to be a long winter. x
Me too! You shoosh, Sandra. Snow is the one redeeming feature of living here... the cold, dark, wet nights are rubbish compared to the joyous white glow of fresh snow.
