Hi folks,

been lurking around the forum for a while and thought I'd join up as there seems top be a good number of NE Scotland owners on here and therefore more chance of actually having some Audi meets with some decent numbers of cars present!
I'm on my second Audi and have even persuaded the wife to buy one too!
Cheers.

Welcome along. Yea I've noticed there's a good group of us on here. Get some pics up of your car.

look forward to meeting you at some of our meets. Look over in the RS4 section of the forum, and some pics please. Enjoy. :) x

Where should I post pics, in the RS4 section or elsewhere, or both!

iain, post one in here and as many as you like in the pic thread in the rs4 forum. :) x

Welcome from a newbie (also originally from the middle of Angus).

That is cracking looking RS4, be good to hear what you've done to it.

Still getting to grips with the look and feel of the forum.. should have spotted that. That must be some motor and definitely got the oem+ look down perfectly.

I'm from monifieth (folks still live there), probably border territory for you (dundee nicked us for a while but back in angus), I know carnoustie, arbroath and forfar pretty well. What bit are you from ?

I live midway between Arbroath and Forfar out in the sticks but am Arbroath born and bred. Your comment about perfect oem+ look is exactly what I set out to do thanks. Not much else I can do now without starting to spoil it, not even real carbon mirrors!(I think they might look a bit 'chavvy' on my car). I do however have an interior mod planned......

Marty; thankyou. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your motor too.

Agreed on the carbon fibre mirrors, interested to see what you do with the interior though (stripped, full cage and hydraulic handbrake on the family car... haha).

I've done my time in Arborath...worked a few summer holidays in the famous 'box factory' met some serious characters there.

The power in your car must be savage though, when I pick mine up from Autohaus on Tuesday, it'll be a paltry 350 flywheel hp.

The box factory!! Infamous rather than famous I think! Aye plenty of characters there right enough lol.

Re my car, the power is now absolutely brutal and you always think about it before unleashing over 600 ponies! I've only just recently had it done so I am still getting used to it.
350 will still give you a fair bit of fun though, what are you getting done?

I think you'll need some good winter tyres on that beast to keep it on the road over the next few months..lol.

Pretty straightforward stuff - Full APR turbo back (sports cat), APR Fuel Pump, APR Stage 2+ Map, Pipercross panel insert (+ new cam follower, revision d diverter valve, RS4 fuel return valve, Loba Clutch and SMF)...

No handling mods though, so will be driving like a big jessie until spring time when i get some ATS DTC rims/Bilstein B16 Coils/full polybush/H&R ARBs/Quaife Diff/corner weighting/Nitrac discs, decent pads etc.

Got some good winter tyres on though, to see me through - Dunlop SP winter Sport 4Ds!

PS I see the box factory has moved to beside the red lion caravan park, moving up in the world!
