Xenon rear levelling sensor

After getting my car lowered I think the rear sensor for auto level has broke, as at nights i can only see a few meters infront of me. Is there anyway of checking by looking under the car.

Does anyone know the location and what it looks like.

How do you know it's the rear sensor?

On my last car, the same had happened mate and the rear is more prone to break after lowering apparently.

If anyone know both locations, let me know so I can check both.

After I lowered mine on coilovers my xenons needed manually adjusting via a screw on the top of each under the bonnet, although mine was the opposite as they were pointing way to high and blinding everyone!

Edit: Now I think about it, they also had a tablet pc with some audi software plugged in to calibrate them aswell.

I don't know if I have a front sensor on my car or not because I couldn't see one when putting on my coilovers but mine still point low... The rear sensor is definitely not broken though. I need to manually adjust them as they point about 10 meters in front of the car and you can't see anything at night... Haha. Come over to mine if you wanna adjust them today?

Check front & rear, front is passenger side & turn wheel full left lock, get torch & look through gap, rear you need to get under car with torch as its hidden up in the rear passenger track arm area, hidden under spare wheel area, but by exhaust as such, handbrake on of course lol.

Ye was about to say, you shouldnt use manual adjusters without 1st using vcds to set adjustment mode or it will not be correct.

What you meaning by the VCDS stuff? Would manually adjusting them not just change the 'static' position of them so they'll still have the same range of motion?

What does the sensor look like?

If its anything like mine it's just a bar connected to the wishbone/suspension and the other end to what looks like a potentiometer...

Yes its just a metal bracket fixed to the chassis, that has an arm that can swing up/down with the suspension arms, has a 4 pin connector attached to it with 3 wires inside.
