Hi all,

Anybody know how much these are at the stealers?

I know he's a busy man but I've contacted NHN over the past couple of weeks and it seems I'm doing the chasing for these.

Thanks Sandra, its true having few net issues for some systems.

They're actually £111.70 each retail now, however I do them cheaper delivered.

I'll get back to you tomorrow, apologies.
 
The only cars that are plugnplay for the sb led lights are the 09 onwards, all sb's with non led rears have to be coded & adapters (which I find crap) or rewire them properly which is my preferred method for various reasons.

Cheers NHN. So the plug & play adaptor with the eBay lights will only still work on 09 cars onwards too? Think I may come to yourself for these lights then ;)
 
No fella, plugnplay means no coding, no wiring adaptions at all so they will plug in & work straight of the bat as they should for all sb's from mid 08/09 onwards, all prefacelift sb's before mid 08/09 need wiring & coding adaptions, hence not plugnplay :)
 
Okay so I've got an 8P1, and I'm wanting to install MY09/MY11 Tail lights. From what I gather from this thread, I would have to rewire the plugs and making some coding adaptations.. correct?
 
If yours is 3 door is plug and play 5 minute job, also 3door MY11's are £166 from TPS I got some two weeks ago that's cheapest you will get them for brand new.
 
They're not £166 from TPS, thats a heavily discounted rate & not all TPS locations will do the rear lights at a discounted rate to that degree if atall, the retail has gone up a fair bit of late & they're normally £210+ rrp, so ring before assuming prices quoted by others are nationwide.
 
They should totally do a 3 door equivalent to the
Sportback lights. Why do they get funky lights and we don't?

Maybe it's a sweetener to hide the extra 50 odd kilos the car weighs...

And while I'm on the subject, how are their performance stats the same as the 3 door???
It's like me welding an 11 year old child to my roof weight wise. How can it possibly
be the same 0-60 time? Power to weight ratio must be different.
 
Trade Parts Specialists work for VW and sell all brand new genuine audi, Vw, Skoda and Seat parts to the trade.

I will upload a photo of my invoice for these for £166 incl Vat From TPS only a few weeks ago.

Nobody is disputing what you paid, but as I noted, not all TPS locations will give you that discount, now they have gone up to the price of near £240, its even less likely to be that cheap.
 
I have these lights and its plug and play. My car is 54 plate :))I definitely recommend to get it if you have pre 2008 audi.
 
Just had a set. 5 min job and looks so much fresher. Do it.
