air filter heat shield small crease but will panel hammer that flat when fitting it, also will attach oil catch can to this also.

silicone pipe for the catch can has also been ordered oil/fuel hose to ensure the pipe lasts.
some 10mm vacum pipe for the pipe going to the inlet manifold to help tidy the engine bay up.

inlet manifold and rocker cover will be getting sprayed next month. got paint just need to pick up gaskets from work and get the parts preped for my bro to spray.

IMG-20121010-00057_zps3f9d9113.jpg

probs been dropped around 10 - 15mm more all round back coilovers all the way down now the fronts have about 8 - 10 threads left

staying on the stretched 215 tyres reason for extra lowering today.

geo readout:

IMG-20121010-00058_zps459ae268.jpg

top was before and bottom after.

camber has been set to 1 degree and 40 mins on the rear. the toe is still in the red but was miles out on the passenger side before fitting the new rear trailing arm thanks to stacys3 on here for supplying the part. the toe was before this readout on 1degree and 10mins on the passenger side its now reading a nice 34mins which i can live with.

only few more parts to buy:

sill covers
r32 anti roll bar and bushes

then its off to pipe werx for downpipe and de-cat fitting once this is done make a nice trip to r-tech for stage 2 map

and finally just got the paint left to sort out both sides and the both bumpers.

not happy with the passenger side which has been sprayed by penketh auto body's so going back to see him again on Saturday see if he is going to repair his poor workmanship if not off to find another sprayer, would give to me brother but doesn't have a booth to do the work in.

my bad ppl dave has just pointed out the crease is ment to be there in the heat shield so will leave that alone lol

needs cleaning up and ready for fitting in January.

I hope he gave you a warranty on them mate haha.

lol no warranty but im sure it shall be fine also saves me a load from getting a new one built

well to-day was an eventful day. got the new headlight fitted, horns, thermostat, oil catch can, air filter heat shield, fixed the annoying rattle in the drivers wing, got the passenger head light to fit better.

thermostat was a nightmare to do, tested it in boiling water first to make sure it worked, then fitted it after a lot of swearing at the bottom bolt, 2 fags l8er the bolt was out. changed the thermostat filled the coolent up with G13 which its changed to now must have got sick of all the + on G12. started the car looked underneath and it was leaking so engine off thermostat out again checked seal and refitted and all fine must have moved the seal first time. 20 mins job turned into hour and half lol.

the drivers wing was rattling as previous owner thought it would not need bolts in the inside part of the wing "amateurs" found some spare bolts and fitted them and no more rattle.

fitted new headlight at last been sat in a box for ages now, all good just need to level the beams on both sides done it best i can for now.

just got the heater blower to fit tomorrow seems simple job to do. and give the car a good clean it was yellow its now yellow with black patches all over it form working on the car and been raining for past two weeks so couldn't wash it.

finished at working on the car at 4 so decided to rebuild me skates while was board at home parts arrived Monday.

no pics of the car as was raining again while doing the work. but did get pic of skates just for westy lol.

well finally got round to sorting out the heater blower today was simple job to do, 4 t25 bolts in passenger side behind plastic cover, 1 t25 bolt under glove box and 3 more inside the glove box and presto glove box out 2 7mm bolts holding heater blower in and also a plastic nut underneath cover and the heater blower falls out. had spare unit ready took old blower out to find this inside it.

IMG-20121115-00086.jpg

so plugged old unit back in tried it and the noise is no more was this bit of foam stuck in the blower causing the problem so will have to send the new unit back as wont need it £40 saved today lol.

Hi all not been on hear for some time now. I will be creating a thread in the selling section with a full list of parts for sale

The car will be off the road as off next Thursday so I will start stripping it down from then as and when ppl need parts

It has been m8 probs gonna get a fiesta 1.6tdci as need something cheap to insure until the claim is sorted and good on fuel the car was finally finished got the stage 2 map on it yours brake pads are still going strong m8 on the car.

Would sell as a whole but doubt it would sell well it's been wrote off twice before and needs a new wing and the front two wheels need refurbing. Would let it go for 2k as it is only has 89k on the clock running 233bhp on 16psi off boost
