If i fitted an EGR delete kit on the car what would happen if it hasnt been mapped out.. A4 2.0 Tdi

Regards
Lee

Cheers guys. Been doing a search but can't find anything relating to fitting this kit b
If anyone finds me one ill buy you a Wispa

Nope nothing on there Sandra
If i fit the full Allard delete kit would this make the car go into limp mode after a while - in another thread it was mentioned that it will go into limp mode however i mentioned just blanking it off rather than fitting the full kit...

Sorry, i dont know the answer to your question Lee. :) x

Hi Lee - I got mine blanked off with a plate with a hole in it. Since then I have had fewer problems (no lumpy idle, no low boost) BUT every now and again I do get limp mode which requires the old 'engine off and on again'. The hole in the plate apparently stops the sensor from registering that the EGR is blanked and therefore stops the engine management light. I think the car runs better with the plate than without.

Hi. I have an Allard EGR delete on my B6 130tdi and the EML came on but I drove it for a couple of weeks until i had it remapped without any problems at all.
