I've already ordered a set of AP coilovers for it from GNJ, so they should be here next week,
other plans are:

-Flat bottom MF steering wheel
-MY09 Rear lights
-Miltek Cat back
-Twin Take or Evoms air filter
-Stage 1 remap
-Maybe some Rotiform Cast SNA or Squared SC1 alloys
-Pioneer headunit

i need a ISO adapter for the Headunit, currently stuck on which one to buy, current one is the concert model, any pointers?

cheers Biggy.

I recognise that focus. Fellow FFOCer?

As for the audio harness, ur on the older style audio system which should use iso blocks rather than a quadlock. Looks like u dont have bose from the pics so this is the lead i'd recommend this kit:

Audi A3 Rear Amplified Single Din Car CD Stereo Fascia Fitting Kit

as stated, u will need to wire an ignition wire urself from the fusebox

Cheers dude I'll get that ordered.

Yeah I ain't been on the FFOC for a while now, the focus is currently off the road ready for a re-vamp for the 2013 show season.

What u got planned for it? I havent been on there for a long time either. Not the same as it used to be.

It might be worth looking into a double din conversion if ur gna go to the effort of upgrading the system. Ud need some other oem parts buts its a possibility.

For all ur LED needs, pm t8ups. He sells canbus led bulbs that actually work.

I'm tidying up the bodywork and paint, then it's going on air and having a new set of wheels dude,

As for the audi, I'll probably put a double din in at some point, I've already got the single din fascia and the pioneer Headunit to put in there, so might as well.

I'll keep that in mind about the LEDS cheers dude

Looks a nice car and nice in that different colour... The remap will release the potential of the car and make it more powerful and flexible!

Nice car! my dad has the a4 s-line in that colour and i love it! your plans sound good cant wait to see this progress.

fitted my headunit today, got a little bit of interference through one of the speakers, but its not a whine and can only be heard when theres no music playing so i can live with that, also the headunit doesn't seem to saving my settings? it's as if the permanent live turns off when the headunit turns off? any ideas?

anyway few pics:

i'll probably retrofit a double din in there in the future.

also my coilovers arrived today, day earlier then i expected them, so i'm going to fit those tomorrow :yahoo:

The audi doesnt have an ignition wire just a permanent. Its either always on or doesnt have a memory function. Search "guide for wiring an ignition source" and itll solve ur issues

As for the interference ive heard that the gala microphone can cause some feedback issues but that depends on what system u had previously i think. Does not apply to all cars and has to be disengaged using VCDS. But it could easily be somethin else

yeah i've already done the ignition wire mod, took a feed from the fusebox, the Headunit turns off with the key, but for some reason when i turn it off none of the settings are saved, and i have to manually turn it back on?

System before was the half amplified concert i believe.

Swap your ignition and permanent wires around. Red to yellow, yellow to red.

Finally got the coilovers on yesterday, still need to set the height a bit lower, but overall pretty happy with how it looks, I'll get some better photos soon!
