jardo is like that old guy that used to be into cars in the 70s or something, thinking that lotus cortinas and pinto escorts still have what it takes to compete in the modern world.
you listen, and you respect they used to be fast, and desireable, but you giggle inside because you know how wrong they are and if you could only show them they'd cry and be put back in place. but you dont, because they love there little 70s car world, so you leave them thinking that their cortina is like the rs3 of today. And in everyones mind at least, all is well.

in 10-20 years time, when s3's have 400hp standard, jardos little hacked up A3 will STILL be faster

Meh, the blokes a ****.

He made a huge long thread about how ****ed the A3 was and listed every single possible problem (many which didn't exist) and called me out in front of the whole forum. Seeing as the entire forums knowledge pool is less than SK's they lapped it up, I offered him every penny he paid back and he said "I wouldn't even give it back to you, you ripped me off." Now I am not allowed to post for sale threads on the forum.

In the time he owned the car he kept coming up with new ****, first it threw a rod, the the turbo blew up, then he snapped a coil on the suspension...never an posts about actually fixing it though.

When his mate purchased it he made a thread about how awesome the car was and how he can't believe how great it is.

Jardo let's be honest now, your old car was a *** mess compared to what you have now externally alone. You wrecked that car trying to make it fast enough to compete with s3's. Pushed the standard hardware far too much just to try and prove a point you never could prove. It turned into a moderately quick timebomb, as anyone trying to make a ko3 car fast will ackowledge.

Whatever you do, please please please don't ruin your new one, it looks a peach, and hasn't been strung to death. If you want it to be fast, mod it right for god sake.

That's right boys and girls. What you see there is two brass solder ring 90* pipes which were destined to lead a very boring life in a domestic water system...On a boiler or maybe a radiator. Now they are living the high life, as 400bhp and 22psi safe elbows for my coldside kit. Exciting huh!

That's what I rate these connectors too, after extensive in house R&D I worked out that if these are capable of dealing with household water pressure they are more than capable of holding 25psi, which given the right blower could well make 400bhp.

Its science.
