Hi, my windscreen has smeer marks all over it, I think it's due to my 8 year old wiper blades. Any rain + oncoming traffic with headlights on almost literally depletes any sort of sight I once had and I end up nearly crashing.

Any recommendations for cheap but decent wipers to replace? Thanks

You might need your windscreen polishing with pumice.
And you definitely need to think about changing blades more often.
I'm surprised that after 8 years the wiper had any rubber left on it.

For the record, I've just bought my car and have just bought a full set of new bosch
blades. The whole set of 3 genuine bosch came in at about £26 delivered.

Well I've only owned the car a month so I wasn't to know, thanks for the help.

Last ones I bought for the s3 were from Tps, genuine blades cost about 27 quid or so, think rear was about 8 quid.

Thanks. Do you think that is why my windscreen is smeared?

Smeared with traffic film made worse by 8 year old blades ! You should aim to replace blades every two years, minimum.

Get some proper screen cleaner or concentrated washer liquid and scrub the screen before putting new blades on.

If you've got any left over detailing clay hanging around, use that on the windscreen, should see most contaminants removed.
