If so, anybody had it done and how much did they charge?
Could any half decent indy do it? I use Streetwise Automotive in
Bristol usually.

There are a few users on here that will retrofit for you. :) x

Hi mate, Audi can do it but as said, charge a fortune. I am actually coming to Bristol next Friday, and can offer this service to you at a fraction of the cost. I only use genuine Audi parts, so will be exactly the same as factory fit.
Have done many fits for members here, PM me if interested mate.

Dont go near Audi I got quoted £230!!!
nearly died, got mine of eBay for £100 and retrofitted myself :)

To be fair, that is a reasonable price compared to some Audi dealers. But saying that, I still retrofit for a lot less.

I got mine from Huntingdon Audi on eBay and fitted it myself.
Took it to my local stealer to get coded only to be told that they couldn't do it.
Useless fookers!
Luckily Sandra on here set me up with Broadster, job done.

I presume we are talking about cruise control?

How much do you charge to supply and install "Dannykn9"?

Thanks Kevin, it was no trouble to arrange, plus Mark is always very helpful. :) x

The last kit I bought and fitted was £70 incl from TPS Genuine, was for a MK4 golf, think they are the same though.

Different stalks mate, the MK4 cruise was part of the indicator stalk and there was no need for a new lower cowling. The A3 8P cruise stalk is seperate to the indicator stalk and sits underneath it, also meaning you need a new lower cowling to accomodate the new stalk.
But the crusie and indicator come as one unit, not like the A4 B6/B7 which is just an additional cruise stalk.

If you get the parts from Audi /TPS, I can probably help with the fit & coding...

The very stealers also quoted me £46 +VAT To code it due to it being half an hour labour!!
outragous, avoid them like the plauge

PM me with a quote please. West London. Say January 2013. Going away for a bit but would like to have it for the year ahead... as going to be slapping on more motorway miles.

Dannykn9 fitted mine two weeks ago and service was top notch!! :icon_thumright:
