What cable did you use to get the DVD on the screen?
Is it a normal DVD player?

I need to have another play with mine.
I also think the satnav is a wee confused.

Had some spare time today so got radiator leak fixed,MAF sensor sorted, track rod ends changed into solid ones, wheel alignment done and the car washed i call it well spent time

Outer cv boots, fitted the 034 motorsport front arm kit, reconnected the clutch line(what a ball ache), stripped down ready to do the cambelt tomorrow, fitted dual miltek, measured up for new reducing link pipes and got them ordered, painted and fitted the rs4 intercooler brackets, bolted the gearbox linkages back up and probably a few other little bits ive forgotten.

EGR Removal & Blanking plates fitted. 2.5 TDi V6.

Less smoke, slightly improved MPG, possibly better pick up from 1500rpm - 2500rpm but that bit could just be in my head, lol!

Over all, well worth doing though!

It took me 2 hours to get home, normally 45mins and somewhere along the flooded streets I ripped my under tray off.
Just spend an hour trying to put it back on.

All done though.

That's her car had an oil service, and following on from here (2.5TDi Sluggish) I've adjusted the actuator stop screw and rod length to see if I can improve things.
It starts much better now, and has a faster response. I tried logging runs, but snow and icy roads made it challenging to say the least!

Not quite today but on Sunday Changed the Oil and the Oil filter and the air filter. Next pressing task is the worn LH CV joint. Audreytoo needs a new CTS I think and possibly a new thermostat. Otherwise seems to be going ok.

ran 2 lots of flushing oil through mine today, oil light still comes on from 1500rpm and over
always thought this was a good car too lol

The dash ignores it below 1500rpm so its likely on constantly....

What pressure are you getting? You need to check with a guage.

didn't bother checking the pressure as the top end was telling me the full story.
got the sump off tonight anyway and it doesn't look pretty so i'll give it a clean out and see where i'm at, can get a new pump for less than £100 but not sure if thats overkill or not considering the debris in the pick up

well thats the bottom end cleaned out, engine flushed and new oil/filter.
took it for a run and seems to be ok, i'll pick it up tomorrow but fingers crossed should be fine and lesson learnt considering i wasn't aware of the issue but everyone else on the planet is lol

Well today i tackled the ICM delete and coil upgrade to hitachi E type coils, new bkr6e plugs gapped at 0.032 and changed the rocker for the old style AEB one and fitted new style mk5 golf oil cap.

What happened?

Yes, it was my Panzer Plate. I live up a farm track, went too fast so got airborne off a rock, the jolt broke the front fixings, then folded it underneath on landing
Great news was the sump was fine I went and got another fairly sharp!

Suspect the ignitors are worn, so need a while to remove, 'adjust' and refit.

On the plus side, the wood burner is still going.

Also found out two of the four washer heaters are gone - one on each car.

It turns out Mr Muscle foaming cleaner cleans ovens almost as well as turbos!
