Any red and black theme s3s??

Hello all just wondered if any members have a red s3 8l with the red and black theme? If u cud post pics that wud be great..iv currently got the windows tinted and had my wheels done gloss black...I'm now thinking of spraying the door blades,back bumper insert and front bumper insert gloss black to just wondered if there's any1 that's got a pic of there's with that same theme to? Thanks in advance!!!few pics to of my car at the minute

i know S3Dave has done the inserts black but its a sliver S3.. but you could still see how it came out.. its was pretty good...im doing the same to mine.

Hey dude, was good to meet you last night, as I said yesterday it would be good if you did all of it as you mentioned, the mirrors as well would finish it off, the grille surround is a quick one that a lot of us have done, leaving the rings in chrome.

Hi mate nice to have met u to! I defo wana do the lower front bumper insert not to sure about the grill Il have to look at that again..just wondered tho if I spray the front insert,back insert and door blades would the paint peel as its plastic??

If you spray it, just make sure it's prepped properly, plastic primer etc.....

Alternatively you could get it all wrapped, that would a lot more harder wearing.

Mine have been painted over a year and it is faultless just get plenty of lacquer on the front....

ah nice one..think il start with the grill seems the easiest then move on from there..dont wna do the mirrors think it will look over done.want it to tlook mean but not to much if u get me lol?

how easy is it to remove the gril? im really not good at anything with these things lol i always get my mates to do it for me

the grille surround is just clipped on mate, u can get it off by hand or get a real thin blade screwdriver and poke it in the corners and lever it off.

The grille surrounds comes off really easy, you can use a plastic blade or as mentioned a thin screwdriver behind the chrome bit and unclip it, it will come off straightaway.

Give it a quick rub down, prime it, then spray it, give it a good few coats and then lacquer.

Let it dry fully, then back on again.

Job done

Painting the grille is a waste of time. I've done it a few times, and it always looks **** eventually. Might take 6months or a year depending on the mileage you do, but it will eventually chip up and look crap.

Plastidip, or vinyl wrap is the only way to go if you want a finish that actually lasts.

iv just been doing some ebay shopping lol

just ordered some led sidelights,aero wipers,and a s3 badge for the gril..im just waiting on a mate to tel me when he can do the grill for me coming along just niceeeee i am looking for some fitted car mats if any1 knws where to get them from the ones on ebay are all diff sizes i need some with clips in all 4 mats as the cheap ones keep moving around n dont look very good..if any1 has any for sale let me know

A quick and good mod for yours would be to update the rear lights to the facelift ones, makes a big difference and would look good on your car as its red too.

im going to keep the normal lights on at the minute mate..trying not to spend to to much on mods just the nice cheap ebay mods for now not to botherd bout the lights to be fair! thank tho!

the back one I just took the original one of n stuck It in the same place as it was previously ur just being picky ain't u! Lol can't wait to get my little eBay mods then I'm hoping defo for a Remap next!

Ur car looks really good mate..defo worth getting it sprayed then the grey on mine just looks a tad bit old think the gloss will bring it out much more!
