Just got a quote to refurb my existing RS6/S-Line wheels in Black Chrome from the Wheel Specialist...£350 which I think is a little steep. It's got me thinking I really like the Rotor alloys which Audi fit on the S3/RS3/TTRS/ Black Editions etc but they're fetching £1.1k on the bay so unfor can't stretch to that!

I'm considering buying these, they're obv copies but look really good and imo look difficult to tell apart from the OEM.

X4 18" AUDI TTRS ALLOY WHEELS A3 BLACK EDITION SPORTBACK S-LINE A4 A5 A6 5X112 | eBay

I think the OEMs are titanium so these will clearly weigh more! Does anyone have these on their car already (pls post up pics), any experience with the co, any thoughts and observations are appreciated : )

Thanks, all the best
Donny

They look ok hard to tell the difference from OEM's and will be about the same weight. for the price they are good but would want to see how good the materials and casting was before getting them.

With regards to the OEM's being titanium, thats in colour only they are still made from alloy.. if they where titanium they would cost far more than most could afford !!!!

Hi pal i just bought a set today and i think they look pretty good on my car

The replica's look like they have a gloss lacquer finish to them,
OE Rotors have a matt lacquer finish.

Hi guys, I just wondered if anyone knew the size and widt of rims on the Akoya Silver A3 posted by user N8?

Whichever you decide on I would stay away from the wheel specialist, especially if it's the fareham branch, I had my last wheels refurbished there and they were ****** expensive and the quality of the finish was rubbish. The only good thing about them was the turnaround time (less than a day). I wish they would have spent more time on them and got the finish better quite frankly!

If you do decide to get your wheels refurbished you should pm n8, he has quoted me on wheel refurbs in the past and the pics of some of the finishes are stunning!

Thanks lads for all your replies. N8 that silver SB looks like it is unable to even turn :O ha. The tyre profile is akin to cellotape!

Still a bit undecided! Maybe i'll take the plunge and buy them then.. at least I can get about £200 back for my OEMs.

Decisions, decisions!

Not Titanium, but Titanium colour paint!

The arms are finished in "Titanuim", ends "Diamond Cut" on a lathe.
paint code is : L8AU
Colour name : TITANOPTIK/GRANIT
Paint system : STANDOHYD BASECOAT
Coat : 2 COAT

BLENDING IN RECOMMENDED
APPLY STANDOCRYL 2K CLEAR SUPER MATT FINISH

note: entire wheel finished in Matt lacquer.

Just a point to note Audi OEM 18 have an offset of 52 and a rim width of 7.5j all copys are 45 and 8j but will still fit I my self would go for
OEM as they look and are made alot better.

i,ve got the 18" originals fitted to the black edition but was looking at a second set with winter tyres, as stated originals 7.5j copies 8j originals look close to wheelarch was worried these might catch but as some of you have fitted them i should be ok with 225/40/18 tyres

Here is mine. Car not finished yet and new suspension hasn't settled in but gives you some idea. These are WSP Italy 19x8.5 +43 with 225/35/19s. Probably the nicest reps ive come across IMO and a decent wheel manufacturer so I shouldnt have any problems with them, cost about 50% more than some of the cheaper reps out there.

Cheers for the pic they look REALLY nice mate. The size and stance looks perfect and really transforms the car! The spokes look a little darker than OEM though which is not my liking but it's down to preference I guess. Is the step quite big?

Hi all,
Just to revive this thread....

I'm now thinking of getting some genuine 19inch Rotors for my A3. I'm sure the RS3 ones would fit straight on with no issues but they're quite rare so what if I buy a set off an A4, S4, A5, S5... will the offset be wrong? I think the PCD on them is 110?

Any thoughts/advice would be massively appreciated.

And anyone with experience or pics who have done it before would be class.

Thanks in advance,
Donny

A4 rotors are the same pcd and do fit, however being 8.5J and ET43 there is a considerable poke and in my opinion can only be pulled off with a 225 tyre with a slight stretch and an extremely low car.. Otherwise the poke looks naff..

You may be in luck however.. I have a set of genuine Rs3 rotors for sale, but they aren't cheap as they are rare..

They're for sale in the classifieds if you wana look

Thanks Jacko, very helpful.
When ya say poke do you mean there's danger of it rubbing the arches? And obv if they poke out past the bodywork it's an instant MOT fail.
I'm quite tempted to buy yours
