Forge atmospheric dumpvalve

Hi,I fitted the forge atmospheric dumpvalve today the spacer type and its made no additional noise so I'm going to remove it but is there any reason why its bit making any noise ?other than this the car is standard !

Before I fitted the forge one I was getting a small noise (more like a slight chatter from the standard one )I had it out earlier and it all looked fine I'm not sure it's the standard upgraded one though !

I got the spacer type one which the standard one fits into,I've booted it upto 6000rpm I get a better noise around the 3500 mark but its note like the standard one making the noise

seems a couple of people have had the same problem ,think its just a basic design there's no diaphragm or spring etc its just meant to drop abit of air out to make the noise ,think ill upgrade to a forge full replacement recirculating one because I want it remapped anyway !

i think you need the same part just a different fitting kit for the the 1.4

quiet?theres no noise at all just the same noise I get from standard circulating valve !

i used to have the spacer, was nice and loud, but I went for the full forge atmospheric dv, which has a much more destinct sound. The spacer should work fine, just take them both off and make sure the plunger part of the diverter clears the holes in the side of the spacer when it retracts.
