afternoon,
just wondering if you lads could advise me on locking wheel bolts?
ordered a set off the bay, decent quality german ones and when compared side by side to my existing bolts there about 6 to 8mm shorter!
obviously i contacted the seller and pretty much said " oy! you! these darn bolts you flogged me are too friggin short son!"
he replied by saying something like " well according to our coffee stained brochure from about 5 years ago sir, they are what is listed for your car, so do one, or send them back"
so was just wondering if your locking wheel bolts are like this? or should i give this bloke some grief?

The locking wheel bolts on my a3 are the same size as all the others.
i wont need to mate, i shall just get open a grievance with ebay, get my cash back through pay pal, leave negative feedback, and keep his bolts! and then buy some proper ones! win win!

Evening all, im feeling sad today 
had my mortgage guarenteed by the bank today, but theyv not given me what i wanted, so ill be looking at a house in a proper **** hole rather than a **** hole
But onwards and upwards hay, really thought all that toss about how buying a house is the most stressfull thing you do, im just stupid and having a kid at the same time lol double barrell anyone?
Westy did you find it stressfull dude?
So the car is booked in for saturday now lol lets see if i can keep my apointment lol i always double book my weekends then have to let someone down!
Facing the wrong way on a round about is not good jason, i thought quattro would stop that happening? Or is it purely down tho the crap tyres?

Mate I bought a house and we had no chain and neither did the sellers. The whole thing went through in about 8 weeks, which apparently is quick, but it was still mega stressful. Shouldn't need to move for a very long time as we have a 4 bed place so hopefully won't have to go through that stress again!

Well iv had a night of house hunting, went for a drive to have a look at a few we like for the money wev got, not a viewing, just having a nosey what the roads where like ie chav riden with pregnant teenagers shooting up in allys.
So with any luck we will have a house before chrimbo. The one house we really like so after a viewing ill be putting sn offer in more than likely.
Westy im thinking of staying there for 2-3years and move on up the ladder with any luck, just had a nock back for now but its better than renting, and with less of a mortgage iv got more money for mods
Coatsey iv not looked for those shims, ill have a look the weekend now mate, as im off out galivanting tomorrow!
And im sure its a party but i dont like the music thats being played i cant stand gordie shore eitha! why eye pet! Getting a tash on? Day 32 in the big brother huuus and all that! But i do like the sound of a parmo do they have them in skegness?lol because thats the only holiday ill be affording any time soon!
And did you have a brown moment jason,iv yet to really push the tt in the wet yet, iv heard the tt is prone to seeing on coming traffic, or does anyone know if the rear spoiler and esp upgrade/fix done the job?

Nah I'm used to it from the a4. Lift off oversteer was must do on the way home as it was so easy lol. Used to get some big angles in that.

Careful with the S3 Jase, the short wheelbase means it's not always that easy to catch the slide! I've span mine in the dry before, luckily out on track, not on the road!

so just a boring factory fitted standard s.e. spec one tonight, i reckon! no optional extras! keeping it real etc!
this moustache growing lark is a bit slow! i bet fred and karl (if he is playing) already have a right old squirrels tail going on, me on the other hand, are just not hairy enough i reckon!

Well its friday chaps and im off work sick so decided to finish the s3 off.
fitted some brand new facelift headlights and trown in a HID kit and some night breaker main beam bulbs and the results are amazing, the car looks a million times better and the loght output is just amazing, cant wait to take it out tonight and see what its like on the road, also at the same time i fitted a gloss back rear rimg badge and blacked out the front grille and badges, proper murder car haha.

Sticking with standard bulbs, get some Osram night breakers plus.
I think they are really good.
Works well on mine.
Or go hid.
But not Jardo's hid (Assuming he's going to use this as a chance to post pics of his hid
), they have chav halo rings.

anyway works finished with for the week, i successfully rolled out my first project at work.
i cant wait for parmo time... also wish i had some beer.. to the exact some innis and gunn!

i used to love mine but just could not be bothered to maintain it when i got the dog so got shot of it!
i used to buy small koi carp one year a few inches long for a few quid, then fatten them up over the year indoors in an aquarium, then flog them back to the garden centre for a massive profit! (£20 each lol) when they were too big for my tank!, they then used to sell them for £80
they used to look great on a night with a blue lamp over white sand!
some types were tame too, and you could feed them out your fingers!
i would not try this on your piranha though!

2 currently. 4ft 260l for piranhas and 3ft 180l for normal tropical. The tank we're going to get is for the gf's dad for Xmas but if her mum decides it won't suit the living room when they decorate I'll have it lol. Only a little 70l but would look nice in the bedroom of something.
Was eyeing up a 900l 6ft tank on eBay but I shan't bother. Too far away and it's a bit naff. Filters they have aren't big enough so would need 2 more. Money I don't have.
Recently redone the gf's dads pond for him. Was disgusting as they've lived abroad for 5 years and the tenants didn't bother cleaning it when they were supposed to. Counted 57 fish in that inc a big white koi. Rest were normal gold fish. So satisfying seeing the pond after a days work and putting the fish back in by hand.
Would love a job working with fish but shop work is pants and pays crap for its hours. Trying to set up my own business in pond cleaning or sonething like that would be a disaster waiting to happen lol.

Much has happened in the last two weeks. I've got an FMIC and all my parts have turned up. I've bought a Milltek off Prawn and had three different boost gauges. I've purchased a set of Audi-Sport plate holders and done much cleaning. I've got a coldside relocation kit, all the blue hoses I can buy, castor correction lower arm bushes, Polo top mounts all sorts.
I had the dent guy in work go over it for a tenner, so now it's looking straight at least.
The day I committed suicide on here I curbed a wheel which properly annoyed me.
All sorted now though

I also won £480 of Amazon vouchers in work for getting a customer satisfaction score of 100% for the 32 cars I sold in September. Every single customer rated me 100%!

Jardo when did you get a new a3? Looks nice anway mate, also the HID's ive just fitted will wipe the floor with yours for been chav y lol, bought 6k ones thinking theyd be like the 6k ones i had on the s3 and **** me, they are stupidly bright but also very very blue lol, ooh well, heir 10x better than the **** prefacelift headlghts.
