Possible swop from B8 A4 to C6 A6 le man's avant, thoughts?

Hi, I'm considering swoping our B8 A4 saloon for a C6 A6 le man's avant as we have a 1 year old baby and another due in 4 months, we also have a small dog so i can see us needing more space for the double pram and all the rest of the stuff you end up carting around.

Is swoping to the c6 a6 a step back regarding technology etc? Do they drive nice enough? What sort of mpg's are you getting from a 2.0 Tdi 170?

Maybe I should go for slightly bigger boot of the B8 a4 avant?

Kids are expensive!!!

ride lovely can coment on tech as havent been in a B8 A4 but the Le Mans does come with hell of a lot of kit as for MPG obviously it will differ from driver to driver but in hilly Wales with a heavy right foot im geting low to mid 30s on run with less heavier right foot high 40s close to 50

Thanks. Mpg's seem o.k, I really love the look of the le man's avant and they seem decent value.

Spotted one near me in black on a 59 plate 55000 miles 170 Tdi for £14500.

Thanks for the generous offer, but you live a looong way from me! And I can go and annoy the dealers for hours on end without feeling bad at those prices!

i find everything fits in mine drives nice, i get 30mpg out of my 3.0tdi, make sure it has front and rear parking sensors!
