BMW was the low point of the Bond Cars.
Who would have guessed it............ok the only good thing they did was driving that 7 via a phone.

Did you see all them Audis they broke?
I wonder what happened to them.
Broken for spares? :D

Bah its cold, my penis has taken a holiday inside, iv got man aids, I'm tired and Hungary! Man rage!

:( Booo

is everyone all good having fun in the cold?

Nope not having fun. Still cant get the wheel bolt off either. 16 slips, 15 slips! Been given another tip to try and if that doesnt work then its going to be drill the head of the bolt and break it off, pull the wheel out and extract the rest of the bolt thats left.

JOY!

Have you tried the proper tools to remove the bolts?

Like? Its in there so tight that nothing can grip it. Spending 20 odd quid on a removal tool will do nothing as the bolt is now smaller than 17mm and the smallest removal tool i can find is 17mm plus one of the techs reckon that`d just get chewed up aswell as its so tight. Need a CV boot doing on that side sooner or later too which is typical!

The reverse thread units.
We've used them a couple of times and it worked well.
Trying to get the bolt out of the tool was a ***** though.

Yeah but as i say the head of the wheel bolt is now smaller than 17mm and the smallest one of those sockets is 17mm so it wont work and the tech said even if it did fit the bolts in so tight it`d probably just chew up the removal tool.

Try welding on a 16mm socket and getting a 10ft breaker bar :ninja:

You know how deep the bolts are in the standard wheel. Cant get anything in there lol. Maybe weld a bolt onto the end of the rounded bolt but as its so tight it`d probably just snap the welds. Its gotta be on the way to 200nm`s. No idea what they`ve done to make it that tight.

When I had a Corsa, I went to buy some nice VXR wheels from a chap in Leeds.

Drove all the way up to find the wheels were still on the car. He undid 3 of the 4 locking wheel nuts, but the 4th wouldn't budge. Long story short. I wasted hours, he couldn't get the bolt out and had to chop the wheel off. I'd try a few more things first!

An inch of weld will hold a ton.
Depending on the metal but I think that's the general rule.

Have you tried hitting the bolt with a hammer?
Worked on stuck subframe bolts and caliper bolts.

Shoved some heat on it?

Can you remove the hub with the wheel still on?

Dude, you got pwned by a lug nut! | whitetrashrepairs.com

Couldnt grind it off so just hammered another 15 on, tech broke his reducer..whoops lol. Used a dirty big bar and it came off hurray!!

Tried the other side just incase and 2 bolts were damn tight again but they came off after holding the gun down for a few secs.

Thank fck!
