Don't forget the clocks go back tonight people, that means an extra hour in bed tomorrow.

Cheers
Nilz

Thanks Nilz, not only have I gained an extra hour in bed tomorrow but my mrs now acepts that ASN is useful!

Lol no worries guys, it has been kept very low key this year, normally it's mentioned on the news or even the BBC website, but nothing this year.....strange!

Ah we'll, dark mornings and dark nights.....great!!!

Probably because a lot of clocks have the facility to use radio and mobile signals these days. I'm on my regular visit to Devon where our office has two clocks; one showing the uk time and the other India. Nobody bothered to change them until one of the guys complained that they kept forgetting to take an hour off! I ended up changing them. :keule:

i ended up forgetting to change mine, woke up to go for work, the mrs reminded me that the clocks needed to go back, so did it, but, my phone had already done it automatically without me noticing! so ended up being an hour late for work and putting my clock back by 2 hours!

Dark evenings now - my least favourite time of year.

At 1am on Sunday I put some chicken in the oven on the usual gas mark and for the usual one hour it takes to cook. Took it out at 2am but it was burnt.

Weird.

I heard on the news that if Scotland vote for independence, we will stop changing the clocks in England and Wales.

Independence or not, Scotland been on about doing this for sometime, but England and Wales to keep changing, that will be weird!!

Does that mean we are only changing time because of Scotland.

Yes, we are only changing time because of Scotland. Something to do with farming.

So when/if we seperate, England & Wales can go back to the same as Europe.

Will save all this messing around.

I had this the wrong way around, i was thinking it was London that wanted to keep changing not Scotland.

We dont need to change, we special up here. :) x
