Morning Lads,

Its wednesday and my boss is down.
I don't think he's very happy, he said that someone raised a complaint saying he's not on site enough (I work at a remote site).
People thinks it was me, it might have been. I had a meeting with a big boss last week and in passing I mentioned that my manager is now on site enough.

The Matlows are ok really. I get their kit working, so they have to be nice to me.
It's the ex-Crabfats that with their helos that's a pain in the ***.

Is it bad that i`ve now got everything i`ve ordered for the car sitting at home waiting to be fitted. But yet i really cba to fit it all lol. Working on the drive when its not a warm summers day really grinds on me. Everyones now been banned from doing pj`s in the workshop at work so thats out the window.

Effort! lol.

No not really.
I know how you feel.

Why have they stopped you from doing that?
That seems annoying.
 
Its because the new DP is basically playing it by the rule book. Techs were doing PJ`s or working on their own cars on saturdays and after work without jobcards (which means if anything happens they arent insured because the car was never supposed to be in there)

Basically said now that it has to be in work hours and has to have a job card against the reg. Which obviously means we cant do it as we`re working lol. So we`d have to book it like a normal customer and pay rediculous rates.

Kind of see their point but a shame not to have any perks at a place like that.

lol i`ll no doubt just get on with it anyway but currently the thought of laying on my back on a cold concrete driveway in possible rain does not get me excited about getting stuck in.

When the accident happened he said to me if theres anything you need tell me. So i said maybe a few nights a week i could do with using a car but doesnt have to be every night. He said no cant do that have to pay the £10 fee for insurance same as customers. Basically said gfyo to that lol.

No the £10 is for a courtesy car. Different subject just displaying the other areas of which the DP is a bellend lol.

Yes accident in which the Civic got written off?
