cool!
you will have to post a little vid of it in action warren!
oh, and how much dude?
I love Shimano but this bike came with none :-(
Infinitely adjustable via hydraulic switch. (Whilst sitting on it) press it a little bit and it drops a little, press a bit more it drops some more. As soon as you let go of switch it locks. To put it back to high get out if the saddle and press the switch and it rises back up. Only ever solid, never suspension, just enables you to get the post down quick for down hill or drop offs without getting off the bike and dropping it by hand (so its a lazy mans post really!). As I'm planning to do low rent races it will save me some time/effort!
Oh....i've already got one of them
Oh....i've already got one of them
whats even more ironic is my desk chair actually has suspension too!
Anyway, dug out a few of my ride today, I fitted some XT disc brakes this year but haven't really been out much as I just haven't had the time this year. She's not so flash and probably 5 years old I think. I'm tempted to get a new one but I think my next bike investment will be to upgrade my road bike.
Tis a very tidy bike, and looks light too (esp. hope /mavic wheelset - bet they ride well). My Specialized has Easton Monkey bars on it and I'm tempted to try their carbon bars on the new rig.
I've seen pictures of some nasty accidents involving carbon handle bars, I think if you plan on anything other than x-country then steer clear of them. I think id have them, but i'd be wary of any heavy drops or jumping about.
i loved having hope hubs for the sound of the freehub lol, i swithed to mavic deemax tho and theyre quite quiet, but the reputation of those wheels is the freehub mech wears out, and iv'e never rebuilt mine
why dont you get a chris king hub, theyre cheap lol. they dont click they actually hum or buzz along, sound weird
