looking for a mint a4 1.8t quattro sport. must be mint. no tat. just been looking at one this afternoon but not for me. if anyone knows of one for sale, let me know. would prefer silver or black but condition rules on this one. thanks.
 
forgot to add, must be low owners, low mileage, full service history with all receipts to prove including all old MOT's. as standard as possible as wanting to put my own stamp on it.

i know its asking a lot but i am quite fussy !!!
 
seen that one. looks ok. not into the chavvy hid blue lights though. there was a really nice blue one on ph the other week but lost the advert now. blue, but had 170k on it. 1 owner from new. £2200. was really tempted but the high miles put me off. i've always had low mileage cars and that was too high for me.
my 1996 vr6 just on 70k miles now !

aslong as its been well looked after and the history is there with oil changes. mileage is irrelevent.

theres a nice '99 5 door a3 1.8tq that comes into our garage only done 30 odd k. looks lovely on the outside, underneath is caked in rust!

obviously condition is the number 1 factor but low mileage would be a bonus too.
 
mileage doesnt matter. once a car is over 10 years old........ condition/history counts first.
 
Yep, and quite often a looked after high mileage car will have had various parts replaced (think bushes, control arms, seals etc) where as the 12 year old car with 70k on it will have all those bits just waiting to fail on you.

Mileage simply doesnt matter.

And infact trying to buy an old car with low mileage will probably just end up with you buying one thats been clocked!
 
I have 2 quattro sports for sale mate if interested !
1 is a kingfisher blue avant, V reg 2000 with new turbo, remap, blow off valve, double din stereo, climate, ABS, etc. Dash is missing a few pixels but nothing else wrong with it. Need to fit a clutch as it's slipping- i have it but don't have much time. Straight body with just a few scuffs on front bumper- can sort for the right price. Mileage about 130k with full service history and no sludge issue.

The other is a burgundy avant, W reg- also double DIN, parking sensors, half leather interior, runs very well indeed. Only snag is the standard alloys are corroded- could do with a refurb and there's a scuff on front bumper- happened in the car park where i keep-it and nobody owned up to it ! This also have service history, also about 135k or so. Give me a ring on 07789912128 if you need to discuss !

looks ok in the pics but rusty front wings, new clutch needed and £2200 ! no thanks. pearl paint so will need bonnet painting and blending into the front doors. needs to be cheaper than that for the work needing doing.
just waiting for a reply on another i've seen. quite a few more miles on it than i wanted but FASH from new. every 10k.

will wait and see.
