We can chat about it in here for about 10 posts, then we move on to more exciting news like Jardo being banned and ScottB5 driving like a grandad in his old auto derv.

True, it would be boring but i thought you wax jacket folk would reval in a thread that you can talk about the latest deals and so on whilst giving real life exsperiances with them, but i dont actually care lol.

Jardo banned? I saw his last post in the pub, was abit much, but thats jardo isnt it?

Tyres are boring. Buy the best ones you can afford. Their are a few exceptions. Vredstein, toyo, falken, uniroyal. Apart from them and the big boys (Michelin, conti, bridgestone, pirrelli and a couple of others maybe) don't bother. Unless you have a real like of kumho's or firestones for exaple.
 
When i was at Jag there was a customer with an auto XF. He said he just used to use the cruise control to accelerate and brake.. Just do that.

The TT is playing up abit today, was abit lumpy yesterday and the mrs said it took two attempts to start it this morning :-/ as it cut out after the 1st. Any suggestions other than get it scanned?

Also i see creation motor sports have ripped off the b5 tip with billett for £99.

Also, the B5 / CM tip is old news. I have a CM one and it's very,very good.

And your suggestion of a real car would be?lol and dont say a tqs lol iv had a leon cupra and many fwd a3 1.8t :) all real cars ;)

I think it may need the throttle body cleaning, because thats my answer for everythn.

Ok so is it a copy of the v2?
 
Lumpy and trouble starting points to ignition issues. Check spark plugs and coil packs. I fitted 4 new coil packs to an A3 on Monday and it was like a new car afterwards. The owner said its never ran this well and he's had it for over 6 months. Coil packs can be screwed without VCDS even detecting anything!

Thanks westy i never thought of coils because it has the old style ones but suppose they do get old and deteriate.

Seems like it over boosts in low gears also, dont think it likes my driving style.

Its just come to me that iv used creation motors before, i dont rate the service tbf, their based round the corner from me and i had my AUM in due to it stalling, the guy had it for a whole day and said he cant find the issue but still charged me £15 for the diagnostic privlidge.

Surprised they have the know how to produce a silicone tip of any standard!

Copy and sell cheaper.

DOn't use their service but buy their parts.
 
Yeh i know this sounds stupid scott but id rather pay that bit more for the b5 v2, 1st impressions mean alot and instead of fuelling their rip off antics id rather give my money to someone that is constantly looking to improve their products and service, and without that support im sure hel throw in the towl with producing new products for others to rip off and make all the profit from!

God im self-righteous lol!

Depends what you define as a bit!

As for their customer service, I bought a k03s Tip from them, then once I got it decided I was going K04 and thought they were more than helpful when it came to returning it and getting the new TIP out. The new tip was an 80mm TIP that I had been told wouldn't fit and did, perfectly.

Yeh im not saying their terrible, but my exsperiance wasnt great, for a place that specialize in vag i was disapointed to say the least.

Forge didn't do anything new, they took a standard hose, and remade it exactly the same, but in silicon instead of rubber. that's their thing.

Replicating that isn't copying at all.

What Bill did was come up with a whole new concept of uninterupted flow.
SFS had a go at creating a poor quality version, it wasn't as good, but it wasn't as expensive, so many bought it.

Creation though, have done no R&D, put in no effort, just copied Bills hard work as closely as possible and knocked it out at a ling-long china special price.

Let's not, my thoughts on the matter are well documented.

It's pretty simple: From a price vs performance & quality point of view, the CM tip can't be beaten. If you want to be nostalgic / support your local badger that's fine.

Is it the SFS tip that the V3 looks remarkably similar to?

Im all for supporting inovation and small industrie, iv had no dealings with b5 but i have respect for what he does on here and that his invented something off the back of his own name and rep!

im sure he will carry on doing so in future aslong as its still worth his while, which it wont be if he dosent have a loyal customer base.

I know a good pattern eterniy if he needs hooking up, but its an exspensive game, i know because my brother has put £50k+ into his invention just on patterns alone.(iv got my fingers in all the pies ;) ) that was for you chocksey.
