Currently bidding on this, worth putting up here for anybody who doesn't have a K04. Seeing as you all seem to have one these days...

SEAT / VW / AUDI / SKODA kkk K04 COMPLETE TURBO KIT No Reserve | eBay

Yes it's Aaron, my new BFFL.

I've bid my maximum, and if I don't get it for that and he get more then I'd go from being upset that I didn't get it for my ceiling bid and happy that he got good money for it.

I'm not one of these last min bidders, if something on ebay is worth say £70 to me I'll be £70 the second I see it and then forget about it until my phone pings to say I've either won or been outbid.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again.

You're SUCH an ebay ****** it's unreal, honestly, you really do not understand it do you?

Rule 1 of ebay, if you like something, and you're going to bid on it, don't share the link on a forum, as other people WILL bid on it.

Rule 2. NEVER bid until the end.

it's moronic and stupid, and just drives the prices higher and higher. I've lost count of how many times I've stolen auctions in the last 5 seconds thanks to morons thinking that bidding the day before gives them any chance at all.

Competetive bidding in the last few minutes is what gets bargains. you sticking in a high bid early on just ****s the whole thing up, and you'll never win, as people will just bid up to find your maximum, then put in 50p more.

argh. How have you not got that already!?!?!?!?!

the above post is not angry, or a rant btw, incase it comes across that way.

I'm just trying to educate the young muppet. So clueless and lost in the world

Morning Lads.

What's happening?

I'm bored of driving the long way to work.
I want to be sat on the ferry, watching videos, not sat on the back road watching some lorry spray water, mud and parts of dead trees all over my car.

I ordered loads of iPod parts last week to try and get a 3rd generation iPod working and a iPod classic.
The 3rd generation battery was ok, it took a bit of messing about but it fitted in the end. Do theses manufacturers not test their products before selling them?
The 3rd generation earphone port was a reused part, it was dirty and had signs of use. I don't care if it worked, I wanted new. My dad don't care and its for his iPod.
The iPod classic back case was to thick, it was about 4mm thicker than the old one and made it bigger than the 3rd generation one. What's the point in that?
O yeah, to get the other sized used battery to fit. Another *** used part, no wonder why the battery never worked!!
The front case for the ipod was plastic and no metal, not happy about it but sod it, I'll keep it for a spare.

Out of all the parts I ordered none of them was any good really.
****ty email was sent, see what they came back with.
On the brighter note, the tool I bought to open the iPods worked really well.
I can now open any apple product. Happy days.

What I don't understand, is why did Jardo wait till it was on ebay?
Why did he not just talk to Don on COV and buy it before he put it on ebay?
Surly that would have worked out better?

I hate people that bit right at the start, WTF is all that about?
I don't really care when I'm selling, so bid away. lol

Agreed, if I'm selling, I enjoy the muppets who drive the price up, so we need some of them in the world, I'm just not sure why the boy insists on being one of them!

What, your piece of blue plastic works well? I'm glad they got that part right. And open any apple product? hmmm, i doubt it. Have you not seen how difficult they make it to open their stuff?!

It's Jardo.
Always forcing him to self not to conform to social standards, standing out in the crowds, while at the same time conforming to social standards.

Nahhh, never used the plastic ones, they are crap.
I bought a metal tool.
Basicly a thin bit of metal with some plastic on it to protect your hands.
It worked really well.

Basically you paid for one of these...

Morning peeps. I have a dilemma!

Now it's getting wetter and wetter I need new road tyres as a matte of urgency. The Infinity tyres I currently have dont work at all in the wet! A light drizzle makes the roads like ice to me.

So, do I go and buy nearly £100 worth of oil cooler parts to prepare my car for my up and coming tack day or do I buy 4 Vredstein tyres for £360 delivered? Obviously the 100 sheets for the oil cooler parts goes on tyres.

Just had a boring uncomfortable drive into work in the corsa after 2 days in the S3 :(

scott since you want our faulty electrics, you fancy trying to fix an ipod docking station, the ipod docking part doesn't work anymore but it still plays music via aux 3.5mm jack....

be warned i took it apart like a real man before to fix it, because the battery wouldn't charge now the battery charges but the ipod dock doesn't work....

i should just do it my self, any ideas on why it would stop working?

No idea on the dock mate.
Never looked at one.
Send it down and I'll have a look.

Westy, Look in to Part worns, find a good garage that sells them and make sure you can pick your own.
YOu can do the oil cooler and get new tyres.

I'm going to against the grain for a change!

Fit N75 switch, drive S3 on the road with less power, and stop driving like the stig on public roads.

Buy oil cooler. - it'll save your investment in the engine on a trackday.

Wait until cheapy tyres are worn out, then replace with decent in the future.

Frederick, buy part worns off ebay AND the oil cooler!

I'm never buying brandnew tyres again, its a mugs game. I've bought 12 brand new tyres in the last 18 months, if I'd have bought part worns I'd have saved 50%.

You can get 5,6,7mm tyres for up to a third of the price. Its a no brainer for me.

Prawny even under normal road driving (my mrs drives the car) in the wet the back end slides all over the place! I can crawl around a roundabout and can feel the movement. It's bad.

I'm thinking tyres are needed ASAP. I'm not a fan of part worns really as I can get 4 Conti sport 3s fitted for £200 or can get 4 brand new Vreds fitted for £390  Though the part worns will mean I can still aford the cooler parts too!

i think he has the price wrong for the conti's

The way you drive will not give Fred any valuable info about the kumhos

You have no idea how I drive young man.
The Pug also runs Khumos, my XR4x4 and BMW all ran them.
Just cause I drive a Auto Derv don't assume I drive like a grandad.

When i get the S3 i`ll be taking off the decent tread Avon ZZ3`s off the rear and putting on my Conti`s i`ve got sitting in the garage on my old A4 wheels. You could have the Avons if you wanted? At a friendly rate or as payment for helping me fit bits on the car lol. Atleast thats 2 reasonable tyres. Then you just need to buy 2 tyres instead of 4.

**** ASN and the inbred mods.

Might as well ban me from the entire site.

Ok will do

I'll have the Avons if they are 225/45/17's, assuming that you will do a good price.

Seeing as its you.....no :p

Only joking. Will see whats what when i take them off and i`ll measure the thread. Dont think they`re that old but not 100% on tread depths.

Need to actually get the car first. F`ing cheques take so long to clear :(

Loved mine on the front of the A4. Night and day between those and the Toyo`s i had previously in the wet and dry.

Uniroyal Rainsports 2. Best tyre I have ever used in the wet.

Soft as **** in the dry, epic in the wet.
