Replaced discs and pads all round with ate superblue fluid and refurbed the caliper covers stickered and repainted
Colour coded front and rear bumpers and diffusers
downpipe and sports cat
ITG maxogen
rs4 valve
Awaiting software
sprayed rear lights with a slight tint and laquered to try keep some oem look
removed rear wiper
windows to be tinted next week
rear 12mm wheel spacers
front grill surround colour coded to car
Also added a few pic of my last few toys

haha oh yeah. i do and have swapped the front for a black one but felt it was too much. will try find a pic and see what people think.

Absolutley mint! Not to keen on the black rings to be 100% honest. Let those four rings shine!

I was beginning to think the same. Badge was removed when the tailgate was sprayed so thought I'd give it a go. New one is sat waiting to go back on

Looking good fella - particularly like the diffuser colour coding

Black on black is a very nice choice... and mikey's right - +1 for shiny rings.

Thanks everyone. I love it and can't wait for software especially going from nothing to stage2

Really nice.. I like the GTi too, was going to get one before deciding on the A3

Love the black rear diffuser! Did you get your front grill resprayed or buy a new one? If its sprayed any problems with stone chipping etc?

Id like to see more pics, great looking car. You got any from the side?

Great car, unsure about the valance and rear lights. That S3 brake pad clip in holder, does it fit on normal A3 brake set up?

The rear lights were only done this weekend to see how it turned out as a cheap mod before I bit the bullet and bought my11 rears and in person they look better than standard but not as nice as my11's. yeh the grill is sprayed and as yet no problems with stone chips. I'm more worried about the part on the front bumper that's been colour coded as now it's been lowered to I think I may get a few so invested in a touch up pen lol. As for the clips I'm not sure.

That's the spirit, straight to stage 2! Good man, and nice car (first S3 rear wiper delete I've seen)

Where abouts are you from mate I recognise that plate

So the first couple of pics are before the lights were tinted and the spacers put on yeah?

Think the car looks awesome. Think i agree about the rings being chrome mind but its your car and what you like is paramount.

Any plans for the alloys? Think a nice set of BBS LM's would look a treat.....

I'm unsure what I fancy ATM. Friend owns a spray shop and thinks I shudder spray those cherry candy red but dunno. Yeh first few are without spacers and lights. Will give it a clean this weekend and put up some decent pics. I'm with you on the rings but so hard to visualize things without doing it so gave it a go and will be going back to chrome soon

Refurb'd brakes including those black decals looks great! Makes me want to refurb mine now.
Overall is looking good, well done on the quick proces.

Rear wiper delete never used to interest me but the lack of symmetry is now starting to bother me.
Were there any coding issues or is it as simple as unscrewing the arm and then plugging the hole?
How hard is it to place back (for Winter)?

well its a cheap mod and also a quick one to change back if the lack of a rear wiper annoys you. just need a 25mm blind grommet. being an electrcian i had some lying around so sprayed it gloss black, removed the wiper with no coding issues and blanked it off. i just like the clean lines.

For the brakes i rubbed the original ones back, sprayed two coats of gloss black paint. ordered a set of stickers off the bay which were 3 different sizes. stuck them on and then sprayed 2 x coats of laquer. Also painted the inner part of the new discs to match. when i get a chance i will post up some pics of the brakes with the wheels on but its just another little touch which i think makes the car look clean and well looked after

I think the brakes look really nice. I'm all for making the car look clean and crisp. Did you use high temp black gloss paint?

yeh i sure did. good thing about using the proper high temp paint is got a can of brake cleaner which i use now and again which brings them up like new with actually getting in there and cleaning them. ive found if you use normal spray paint, the brake cleaner removes that afer a few time.

Nice looking car mate same colour as mine with the black optics grille, was thinking about the black rear badge and now i have seen yours i am still not sure but the rest of the car looks sweet mate

looking good John! Just need some nice BBS CK alloy wheels now, I know someone who has some....................
