grill help == DONE!!! (with pics)

alrite lads,

my black grill has just arrived and it may just be me but I can't find a guide on here for fitting it. To be honest I don't really fancy bodging it so can anyone tell me how easy/hard it is.

Or anyone near north wales / deeside area fancy doing it for me (paid obvs...)

Here you go mate. If its the RS3 grill you need to paint the impact beam across the front too. If its a black edition grill then you dont.

ok sound, I reckon I'll just give it a go. How essential is it to put the car on jacks??

no need, to get at the M10 bolts, you can put the front wheels on full lock and then remove the some to the torx screws on the wheel arch liner. then pull then wheel arch liner back, another pair of hands helps, so that you can get at the 2 no. bumper torx screws and the M10 bolts. a torch will come in handy if you do it this way.

im crackin on with it bumper nearly off but how the hell do u disconeect the fogs without breaking them? feels like im goin to snap them

Finally! took me about 2 hours but eventually got it done, then gave him a quick wash, wasn't as bad as i first thought tho which is good, thanks for the help guys.

Still looking lad. Have applied for a few other jobs in engineering so if I get success then an RS3 it is for me. If not then I will stick with the S3 for a little longer. No great shakes if I do though.
