Hello guys

Thought i'd share this interesting piece of info, some of you probably already know so i must apologise, but for those that dont, I was looking for some MY09 lights, for my light blue a3, and could not for love nor money find them on ebay. I did come accross some used ones but only either just the left or the right, and never for the pair. I know Nigel aka NHN does them for a good price, but Danny informed me of a site he stumnbled accross and they are basically the same lights but before audi get their hands on them. Exaclty the same without the audi markings. I ended up getting mine for around £130 for the pair.
Here is the old link for that i got:

AUDI A3 3 DOOR HATCHBACK 2008- Rear Lamp N/S | eBay

if you got to the shop you'll find both sets as i did. But they do have a site, although its a tad more like £15, but £15 is still £15!!

Again a huge shout out to Danny!

I'll update my post here once I get them delivered! oh and if you opted for teh standard delivery, it was FREE!!!
So an update between 2-5 working days!!!! :yahoo:
Cheers
Sg

Think that site should be paying you commission mate, lol! I can see a lot of users checking them out. And as they told you, they are OE lights, therefor making them the same as Audi's but without the rip off charges.

Happy for you mate, as I know how much you want these babies. Will defo transform your rear end.

This was the company i got my lights from back in Feb, i did post at the time to say what a great deal & great service! Just wish they'd stock the 8P2 S-Line bumpers!

Well...not that much of a bargain I must say, saw some MY09 for 95 in the classified few weeks ago. I bought some MY11 for 145 from a car breaker. Car breakers seem to be cheaper.

Its always going to be cheaper buying used second hand parts!

Rights guys, I got home today with a few goodies waiting for me! I was like a kid at Christmas!! I couldn't wait to stick my shiny new MY09 lights on my car!! The only thing is that in my haste in putting these bad boys on, I lost BOTH the caps that cover up the hole for the removal of the lights! A small price I admit!! Here are the before and after shots!! :arco:

Super fast delivery! for £130 you cant complain. I decided against the MY11 lights as my car is a light blue. I think the lighter lights suit lighter cars plus the site didn't have the MY11 lights so either way I was going for the MY09!!!
RNS-E next! then the flat bottom steering wheel and I'm done!!!!!!

looking good mate, looks so much better and a great price too!
I am still on the lookout for RNS-e for you, I have text another member and retrofitter here for you, but they don't seem to want to reply back to me.
Anyhow, I'll keep looking for you Sg, who knows, but that person I text may see this thread and contact you direct, they know who they are, and you can trust you are getting a decent unit from them.
