hi

been on here for a while. had loads of cars and a couple of audi's. first was a A6 4.2 v8 i imported from Germany. then an A4 2.0 TFSI DTM. Last was a A3 3.2 v6 and finally a nice family car.

Saw this on rs246, looks stunning in red. Best OEM wheels for it too.

The Car looks stunning in red. Very nice choice. :) x :yum:

very nice ! get some more rs4 badges show it off ;)

no. i don't need to show it off. (only to you guys, but you know what it is!! :) )

took all badges off. left the ones on the side. wanted to remove the side ones aswell, but i think that will look weird because the sidestrips are shaped for the badges.....

also was going to take off the rings at the back, but changed my mind now and they going to be black.

just like the clean look...

thanks for the comments!

obviously you didn't read my previous post! but as you say, each to their own. if everybody would have the same taste, there would be more wars!

Car looks stunning and i like the rear debadged it kind of cleans it up. Also people who know cars will know its an RS without a badge

Haha, I didn't even notice it was missing the badges. Certainly looks like an RS even without them, the grill looks a lot cleaner too.

Ahh but I did read your previous post... it's not about showing off, it's about not hiding - there is a huge difference.

You like cars without badges, I like them with badges.

very nice car mate how does it compare for fuel or how is the drive coming from the 3.2 i had a black rs4 playing with me couple weeks ago and it looked so quick, side by side him flooring it he was off so far in the distance then waited on me then took off again

also did u get a good price for the a3 i have a 3.2 at the moment and always see what they are selling for but never know if the actually sell,

hi
if you're thinking about getting one too, then deffo do it!!
funnily enough, the engine is very similar to the 3.2: you can do 25mph im 6th, or rev the balls off it and it likes it either way. offcourse in the rs4 its just with some more urge!!
economy wise (although we shouldnt talk about that with a 4.2v8) is nearly the same as the 3.2, although mine was manual and i'm not sure how that compares to your dsg. the 3.2 is just very thirsty i thought. but as i said, similar to the rs. personally, i dont care too much about mpg as i don't do too many miles, however, i do think the tank is too small as i end up at the pump regularly!!

hope this helps,

robert

+1

Having a usable rev range of over 7000rpm (1000rpm to 8000+rpm) makes it really easy to drive whether you want to potter or smile!

well, no. had the car for sale for ages, but nobody is even interested in the slightest, i think purely because of the engine. you would just need to find the right person like you or me who would actually buy the a3 for the the engine...
i never found this person and just took the hit when i px-ed....
