Hi,

My car is coming upto the Cambelt change time, and I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on parts to get replaced at the same time? Water pump is a definate, anything else recommended?
Thanks

Water pump is the only big ticket item I'm aware of.

And then something to fill the rather large hole that audi will make in your wallet for the privilege! I got quoted £790 all in from a main stealer a few weeks back. Spoke to my local independent specialist who I have used for years and they quoted 299+ the dreaded VAT which was all in for genuine Audi parts.

Bit of a no brainier really.

Audi did my cambelt and water pump for £369 all in.. Haggle and the price will come down!

I got quoted £529 by Audi Warrington which was apparently about £150 reduced on an offer, but Awesome Gti are going to do it at £330 for everything :)

You are all booked in too :D

Always more than happy to see what we can do for you! We can have a nice chat about some APR remapping too!! :D 25% off at the moment! :D

Awesome Mike

Haha don't tempt me! I would like a milltek exhaust, uprated clutch and remap but would probably be killed by the mrs!

Ahhh don't worry about that!! With a remap you can't see anything.... So as long as she doesn't drive the car she will never know :D

Haha she does drive and she's a rare one that actually understands cars as she has a corsa Vxr herself.

Just wondered does the front end get taken off to change the cambelt?

The car went into Awesome for the cambelt and water pump change yesterday and I'm extremely happy with the service :)
Got tempted by the remap offer, if only it was the other side of Christmas when I could afford it :(
