I think maybe something is wrong. Power basically falls off by 2000rpm so guessing no boost. Car still drives smoothly and doesn't hit limp when I'm driving but did on the rollers. Guessing clogged VNT vanes?

The car has never really been fast but never guessed it was that slow. Worst case scenario I expect is needing a turbo change, what's the retail on those little dinky turbos for the 1.9TDi?

AFN engine
243,000 miles on the clock
Still returns 60+MPG oddly enough

Crank. I have no doubt it's accurate. The car is quite slow.

Sorry, but that post made me laugh out loud.

Speak to ScottB5, his car is also slow and he had vnt issues earlier in the year.

There could be a few issues with the car if it does drive slow ! For once they have MAF issues if it cannot meet the requested airflow the car get's in limp mode, also the pump case pressure relief valve might be popped which will mean reduced overall power- it drives bad if it's completely split in pieces. Also VNT mechanism or boost control solenoid can give said issues but the ECU needs scanning for codes. No point stabbing in the dark !

It has the well known inlet manifold pressure code. I don't know why I haven't bothered fixing the car in all honesty. I just thought they were all slow.

Theres some fairly simple tests you can do to check the movement on the VNT actuator, so do those first!
