Ko4 sensor bung

Hi all after my question the other day about the sensor hole in the back of my k04 i was told to bung it, Bill said its a m12 x1 now im having loads of problems finding one, can someone suggest the best place or better still send me one (i will cover all costs and pay for the bolt)

You can get a 12 x 1.25mm thread bolt to thread in enough to block off the port. I use little set screws that look like this:

Surely that's a bad idea Doug as you'll damage the thread and make it useless incase you ever want to fit an EGT probe at a later date?

It's clumsy, no doubt. The bung is permanently closed off when ramming a mis-matched screw in there. But it's expedient. Especially here in the good ole USA where we are metric-phobic. However, perhaps your local hardware stores stock the correct thread.
 
M12x1 is the thread pitch..
local screw supplier will be able to source one of these.. (cap screw)
