get some live logging done once it been mapped by Niki and then post up your humungus gs readings and of course new 0-60 etc :)

0-60 will have to wait till GTI Inters next year so that it's comparable with the times in my sig.

How much are they costing?

It's £350ish for 4 from Camskill then £20 to fit at my local tyre fitters ;)

Could always "borrow" a CO2 extinguisher from somewhere and give the cooler a cheeky spray on the dyno lol ;)

Not bad. Wish i was still competitive with tyre prices :( Years ago i could get tyres dirt cheap. Now everywhere online is cheaper!

A FMIC spray has been mentioned. We'll try for 300bhp in the morning :eyebrows:

That is a shame mate. I was looking at 4 part worns of some type just to get me through a month or two as I'm spending too much money again at the moment but I cant find anywhere with decent part worns.

He said it may make 300 tomorrow once cool as he's been running it all day mapping it. So we'll see :)

At the end of the day it's all about road drivability and this car will still be a beast. 300 would be nice on a graph even if it is only 1 time.

Yeh he said it has been running hot after all day today. Been admiring it outside with the bonnet up, wants a wash! :p

this is running wmi still yea? so temps going to be pretty consistent

I looked at one of your old revo2 runs, and it was >320lbft 280bhp back then with no relentless mani, and no wmi running at that time.

Yes Bill WMI is now working lol

I remember that dyno run bill that was before Ross and I asked you to reel it back a bit ;) does it say what boost it was running? This is now running 21psi which I'm happy with as much more just ups heat with no real gains. Wonder if a large inlet mani will give me that 4bhp I need? I guess the CR of the pistons does make a small difference!

When you picking it up? I am dropping mine off Monday for a little tinkle and a rolling road session.

Maybe tomorrow, if not it'll be Saturday.

Niki said he Wants to do 2 hard runs on the dyno under cooler conditions in the morning to get final logs and readings. Said he's not seen above 930 degrees EGT all day which is good news. Also said its the most refined K04 car he's ever driven!

How much do you think WMI has contributed to your readings, seriously giving it some thought on buying a kit, unsure how much power it would add through timing as I'm currently running 304 bhp and 290 lbs ft.

on hybrid k03 cars wmi has allowed me to get 283bhp where without they get 260bhp...
engines much happier running cooler with good ign advance.. without having to rag the boost to get things going (and consequently uber hot)

my mantra's being its all about the flow, and heat management

So enlarged inlet next...got an aeb inlet manifold sat in my garage :p

Yeh that's good then. Did sound nice when they moved it. Good times!

Thanks bill. If I remember correctly that dyno run was by turning the boost up to 9 in the revo settings. Was running 26psi there :faint:

I think I shall be seriously considering a large inlet mani next. Bill do you think the map will need much work when an inlet mani is fitted or is it a basic plug and play mod?

awesome dude. what a result. i'm glad it broke 300 otherwise you wouldn't stop...

what you gonna do next now that project 300+ has come to an end

Glad you have 'supposedly' got the figures mate :p , nice to see this one finally break the 300+ barrier.

im kinda dissapointed that welly wont be kicking you in the nuts though.
id love to have seen welly running across the site at ADI and toeing you straight in the nads. that would be more epic than 305hp if im honest

Sorry bud. At least I can kick Welly in the spuds if his BM doesn't reach 300 ;)

RTech just confirmed the 305bhp and niki has graphs and ECU logs too. I'll collect the printouts with the car tomorrow :yahoo:

Wicked! Glad to see it hit 300bhp. You have worked hard, happy to see it has paid off! Now to enjoy the car

Thank **** for that haha. What torque did it make pal?

R-Tech powah; good work Westy.

Niki's been saying some good things about your motor ;)

Glad it made it mate I know them extra couple of horses aren't a lot but it's so much much more to make that benchmark :) :)
