2 years ago me and Sarah spent 2 weeks driving round France, Spain and Andorra.
We really enjoyed it and wanted to do it again but go east though Europe.
After some talking and thinking we decided we should see the UK first before do any where else.
We decided to drive from Plymouth, up to the lake district, round Scotland and back home.
Date was set, basic route was set, thanks to the Scottish lot for suggestions and off we went.
We never booked any hotels, camp sites, B&Bs or pods. We just drove till we wanted to stop and then looked for some where.
We loaded the roof box, loaded the boot, loaded the fuel tank and headed off for the Lake district.
Here is some pics we took on our phones, I left the proper camera at home. Hopefully they are in the order of our trips. I'll add some information to them if I remember any.
First stop for 2 nights was a Pod in the Lake District.
some lunch
One of the main things I wanted to do on this trip was propose to Sarah. 7 years we've been going out and I thought it was about time.
Middle of lake windermere, on a boat, choppy water and a rainbow.
She said yes. WooHoo, I guess.
I never bought her a ring before, I wanted her to pick her own ring but as a token ring I gave her the plastic ring from a vimto bottle.
Then it was on to Scotland. At this point the images gets a bit all over the place and random order.
Meal at Glenshee.
Pods
Invasion of Chickens.
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPP
Moooo Cooowwwww
Loch Ness

a Wigwam at Kinloss
Here is a basic Google map link of our route.

The map might say we took the 702 but we really took the 701.
That's our trip.
We will like to go back but possible go up to John O Groats.
